Let me start off by saying that I am a huge advocate for supporting local business and writing only positive reviews which would elevate a local place. With that being said, the first time I went to Norm’s (shortly after they opened), I swore I would never go back. We were invited there with some friends for a celebration last night and decided to go back chalking the initial experience up to a newly opened restaurant still working the initial challenges out. Last night was hands down the absolute WORST dining that I have ever experienced. The food was delicious, however the server, Lindsay was unprofessional, rude, and appeared to be very intoxicated. She constantly rolled her eyes, demonstrated loud “sighs” and made us feel as though we were putting her out. Every order was incorrect and she made us feel as though it were our fault.

One person from our group asked a question and Lindsay replied by rolling her eyes and rudely stating “I’ve told you this once already!” As more in our group started to pick up on her nasty attitude the aura around the table became very tense and unenjoyable. One member of our party actually stood up and left in the middle of her meal and while her vocal comment was not entirely necessary I could totally relate to what she was thinking/feeling.

At the end of the meal, while she was arguing with another person from our group I asked Lindsay for the check and she snapped and literally said to me “No one was even talking to you, what do you think you’re actually going to pay the whole bill for everyone?!?!” as she laughed in my face.

The examples can go on and on but unfortunately there is a character limit here. This is BY FAR the WORST experience dining out that I have ever had. Two strikes and Norm’s is OUT. I will never return and PAY to be treated this way again.

(With all of this being said, I do have to give a huge shout out to the chefs because the food was...

Simply aaaaahmazing.

We finally tried this place after months of hearing friends raving about their food. The anticipation built up ... and I was not disappointed!

I got the Tuscan Chicken, which ended up being the best chicken I have had in a restaurant! The parmesan crust was nearly perfection. I don't often order chicken out, because I haven't found any as good as the recipe I have been making for years .... and I will go back for their chicken ANY day! The lemon cream spinach sauce - yum! Both my teenage boys downed their meals as well. We also ordered the Western burger and garlic fries. My son said it was one of the best burgers he's had.

Service was top-notch and it was a packed house. We were taken wonderful care of, even with how busy it was! Wonderful atmosphere. Everyone incredibly friendly. I cannot say enough good things. We will be frequent patrons, and we'll see you for breakfast this weekend!

Thanks for a great dining...

Norm’s Restaurant 🐄

Dinner this evening was fabulous. We started with the loaded pork fries. Very well done and generous portion for the two of us. Pork was perfect, fries were crispy, jalapeños were candied, overall perfect combination of flavors. The tomato basil was creamy and had that homegrown tomato taste. Side salads were fresh and the croutons were homemade. I had the special, lemon caper salmon with roasted vegetables and quinoa 👌🏼 My salmon was cooked perfectly and the sauce was nice and light. My husband had the western burger (if you have never had a burger at Norms they are very hard to beat). They have gummy worms beer on tap. The fresh lemonade was a great balance of sweet and tart. We also had the lemon Bundt cake with candied lemon which was a perfect ending to the meal we had. We have always had great service and the same was true this evening. Chef Bobby has done a wonderful job...

Excellent food, excellent service, no reason to not come here every week for brunch! Warning that brunch here gets really busy and they are only open for a few hours on Sundays to accommodate. Recommend arriving early and not being scared to wait for a table - it is a large restaurant and turnover is decently fast. I opted in for the mimosa special (3 full sized mimosas for $16), and enjoyed the Strawberry Lime special as well as the classic Orange with fresh squeezed juice. For my meal I had the Hangover Breakfast Sandwich. The taste was amazing! Biscuit was moist but with the perfect crispy edges. Gravy was sweet and savory and amazing. Chicken was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend. The staff was highly attentive and we never had an empty drink or needed to wait to ask for anything.

We love Norm's, the server's are friendly and the environment is fun. There is so much character and tasty meals to this place, we were regulars. Unfortunately, over the last year or two there have been quality cuts to staple items. The thick seasoned fries changed to sad tasteless strings. They cut the non-beef options, venison and bison. I'm also not sure if the meat is still from R+R. There was this incredible pulled pork and fries dish that disappeared. We brought up these concerns to our servers several times, but eventually we had nothing to look forward to eating and paying the increased prices for. Definitely a bummer and we hope to see Norm's go back to the farm to table, allergen aware experience it used to be.

Wonderful lunch outside on the patio today. Enjoyed fresh locally sourced food and beer. The tacos made with homemade tortillas are my favorite, but the daily specials are tempting. Looking forward to visiting for brunch this weekend to enjoy some fresh squeezed mimosas and eggs Benedict.
