China Dragon — Restaurant in Pampa

China Dragon is a Chinese buffet that I found nothing less than interesting. Getting right to the food, in terms of taste, you're getting the streamlined Chinese buffet experience and everything tastes exactly like how you'd imagine it would, so there are no surprises when it comes to food. You'll probably find the selection to be somewhat wider than other buffets near by, which is impressive as China Dragon is definitely unmistakably smaller than other buffets near by. While on the topic, when it comes to seating, you'll either find it cozy or cramped-- I happen to have found it to be the latter. Your mileage will vary.

Decor..is definitely somewhat unconventional and quite honestly, I'm not sure if I have the words to describable that into further detail.

Ultimately, you'll be receiving a very average experience here. That, of course is not necessarily bad. If you don't care to be blown away and just simply want to come in, get fed on a good price, and leave...it's very likely won't regret...

I have always loved China dragon, it has been my go to for YEARS. I'm not sure what has changed over the past few months but the food just isn't the same. The sweet n sour chicken is completely different (and not in a good way 😟) the peanut butter chicken looks lighter, just doesn't look the same I can't even try it. The food has an odd after taste...today the wontons were undercooked. They didn't have any crunch to them at all. They didn't even have my favorite dish on the buffet today (the little chicken pieces with jalapenos and veggies) not sure what its called. Its my absolute favorite. I hope they didn't permanently get rid of it. The broccoli in the chicken and broccoli tasted really off. PLEASE DON'T TRY TO FIX THINGS THAT DON'T NEED FIXIN, the old original recipes...

Cute Chinese buffet in downtown pampa. The restaurant was clean and the air conditioning was definitely nice as these Texas summers become hotter and hotter. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was very calming and friendly. The food was decent I just wish they had a bigger sushi selection. There was only one variety when we went today. But it was still pretty tasty. My only complaints would be I wish that the food was a tad bit hotter. They were on the warming stations but most of the food seem to be lukewarm. Other than that I would definitely recommend this buffet especially...
