Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Pampa

Update.... 2 months later..... faster this time but they still choose to not mix the blast... come on guys....

So I'm writing this review in frustration. In the past I've had issues here and not said anything but tonight puts a pin in it. In the past, I've ordered the chicken finger meal and the gravy was pretty much water. The consistency was water. Sure, it looked like gravy, white with pepper, but it was water thin.

Tonight, I ordered an Oreo blast. I sat outside waiting for about 10 min. I had to press the button to ask where it was before they would deliver it.

Once delivered, I noticed it was very black under the lid. I opened it to find a handful of oreos tossed on top of a cup full of ice cream. It wasn't mixed at all whatsoever.

So I've marched back to find out why this is the case.... they say they'll correct it, but here I've sat for another 5 minutes. The staff seems to be made entirely of teenagers, which is fine, but they're glued to their phones and too busy horseplaying. This could explain the delay.

It's pretty disappointing, to say the least.

They finally brought the replacement, and it was done correctly. I...

I eat here a lot, I like Sonic burgers for my cheat meals, but I seldom seem to get the right order. Add to that last time when I had brought the mistake to the attention of my car hop it took far too long to get my correction (I ordered the double bacon, was charged for just a double, received a regular burger). When asked he admitted to merely forgetting all about it, and I don't blame him, but honestly it's getting to be rather ridiculous. There is a big difference between the pronunciation of "A number two" and "a number three". I'll admit that I may say the wrong number once I'm awhile, we're all human, but considering the fact I really only go there for one thing I doubt that is the case every time. I won't stop going there, too small of a town for me to do that, but I have adjusted expectations, and certainly will be using it as a "last resort" on rushed...

Employees goofing off inside sitting on counter tops, hugging and kissing each other, grabbing people by the throat, nobody washing before delivering food after all that? No wonder it takes 20-30 minutes to get your food.

Add on: What kind of a run down Sonic facility can not make a Sonic blast? 3 times now in the last month we have made an online order and can not have it, and can not even get a refund! The employees and the manager are useless and don’t offer any way to reconcile other than “ I don’t know “. This place, management, and franchise ownership are all pathetic.

Edit again 7-7-25: you couldn’t make a burger correctly if your life depended on it! How hard is it to read the screen, and accurately make a meal!? You aren’t worth the money you...
