Peppa's Jerk Spot — Restaurant in Panama City

We came in Sunday after church looking for something new and exciting We found it here, authentic Jamaican food My husband had just said before we came in he doesn't like jerk it's too dry and spicy (That too me is how jerk should be be but he is American and I am Thai) Well that man kept eating even after he put his napkin on his plate. He was searching for more chiken! I had the jerk wings they were not spicy at all but they were delicious The wings were crispy, juicy, well marinated.. The peas and rice were a perfect vehicle for the jerk sauce and cabbage I loved what the owner Kevin explained to me was festival bread..it loaned a pleasant much needed crunch to the meal The pasta salad was my husband favorite There is no salt or pepper on the table and none is needed We were the only ones there though it seemed they have a fairly good to go business going It seemed on the weekends it also serves as a nightclub? All in all we will be back to try more of this happy food Fresh authentic delivered...

Upon arrival you may be skeptical, but in my eyes that’s exactly what I was looking for. This hole in the wall restaurant should be absolutely packed, the food is amazing, the owner took our order and made it in the back and brought it out to me and my four friends. We waited about 15 minutes in the empty restaurant, but it came out fresh and hot. I have zero complaints. Once you understand what goes into a place like this, you can truly appreciate the things done for you. The meal ended up being fairly cheap and very fulfilling. For a fresh home made meal I’ll pay double what I paid any day. While lacking in modern aesthetic, the authentic traditional beauty reigns through clear as day, and truly lies...

Best food and service I’ve ever received... Not too much else to say, my friends and I were on a tight budget during our vacation in pcb. Yet still felt the need to tip pretty much what we paid for the meal! Other Jamaican spots in the area will charge double for arguably worse quality food.
