McDonald's — Restaurant in Papillion

First off, I'll start by saying I'm a truck driver. That said, I have been to all the country's best and worst fast food establishments. As for McDonald's specifically, this is hands down the worst one. As I type this, I am in my truck parked outside, watching a line wrapped around the building not moving. Two people have given up and sped off in the last 5 minutes. But that's not my complaint.

What is absolutely, ridiculously, completely inexcusable, is the 24 hours of service that is listed not only on Google, but plastered on their front doors I've become so accustomed to. My route takes me by this place twice a night, 5 nights a week, for the last 3+ years. When I say I am not exaggerating, I mean I swear on my life that the front is locked up and closed from midnight til who knows when, at LEAST 3 of the 5 business day evenings I have ever stopped. It is currently 6:17am on a Saturday morning and guess what? Locked. Two other people waited out front, looked at the workers inside, looked at me, looked at each other, then left. I only hope that McDonald's corporate finds out about this someday.

All that said, my third complaint is the older cracked out lady who's always working overnight through the week. She has no volume to her voice so it's basically like ordering across the street with two cups and string tied in the middle. She also walks so slowly, I thought she was doing it intentionally for the first year I'd been attempting to come here. Now that I'm 3+ years deep and she's still in a losing race with a box turtle, I've concluded she is just flat-out slow. To add insult to injury, my order is more often than not incorrect.

To sum it up, this is the craps table at a run-down Vegas casino, somewhere in the butthole of the old strip. You just come here to roll the dice and see IF you'll get service, and what you'll get if you're lucky enough. Consider...

The worst McDonald's I have ever experienced. It took 4 tries for them to get our order correct. It was a fairly easy drive through order. 4 cheeseburger happy meals with chocolate milk and fries, a chicken nugget happy meal with chocolate milk and fries, and a chicken sandwich. Attempt 1: They hand 4 happy meals and chicken sandwich out. We open them to check and one is just fries no chicken nuggets or cheeseburger. I get the chicken nuggets. Attempt 2 we had to get chocolate milk that they forgot. Attempt 3, now I have had to park and go in, they never gave us our 5th happy meal. I get the happy meal come back out to the car. Hand out the last happy meal. To then be told by one of my kids that their cheeseburger had NO burger just cheese. So Attempt 4, I go back in get a cheeseburger with a burger and go back out to the van. Everyone is happy and finally after almost an hour for our quick stop we are ready to head out of town. I start to pull away and wouldn't you know, after the 4th try I opened my chicken sandwich to find a cheeseburger! I said forget it and ate the cheeseburger. “The experience here is hit or miss. Sometimes it’s great and other times not so much. I occasionally get the wrong food in the drive through and have to go inside to exchange it. The hours recently have changed from 24/7 to open until 11 so make sure you know that before going!”

I changed it to a 1 star rating after visiting a couple more times. They continued to be shutting down before their posted closing time. I got there at 10:50 and the restaurant was nearly shut down with the drive through screens off. I then called the location on the phone and confirmed they are open until 11. The lady on the phone I talked to was like well it’s basically close enough. So I said well I’m here 10min before you close so can I still order something? She procededed but made me feel like a nuisance. I then ordered a Bacon Big Mac and once I got home realized they forgot to put the Bacon on it. I don’t know what’s going on inside this restaurant but something needs to change.

Added 05/12/19: They ran out of Egg McMuffins at breakfast time. So many...
