In the midst of Tennessee's vast expanses, we stumbled upon the Hong Kong Chinese restaurant in Paris—an oasis amidst the culinary desert of a Sunday evening. Braving the unknown, we embarked on this gastronomic adventure, and I must confess, it proved to be a satiating experience.
While not every dish attained culinary excellence, there were notable highlights among the mains. The culinary prowess shone through, creating a symphony of flavors that left a lasting impression. However, I must caution that the ultimate verdict may hinge upon personal preferences and favored choices from the menu.
The staff, a beacon of warmth and hospitality, tended to our needs with unwavering dedication. Attentive to the details, they swiftly cleared the used plates, ensuring a clutter-free dining environment. Their friendly demeanor added an extra layer of delight to the overall dining experience.

Read moreWe moved from the west coast and have been dying for some good Chinese food. We drove from a neighboring town, about 25 minutes to check this place out. It’s definitely worth the drive to satisfy the hankering for Chinese food. The buffet had lots of options. There’s also a full menu and sushi bar. We chose the buffet to try a little of everything as it was our first time.
Now, equally important as food right now are the measures in place regarding Covid-19.
This restaurant gets it. I am nervous dining out. But this place takes it seriously. The restaurant is squeaky clean and was continuously being wiped down while we were there. Anyone walking in the door is directly assisted and people are sat away from each other. There are strict rules on the buffet- no children serving themselves. No touching the counters unnecessarily. And there are disposable gloves or hand sanitizer available and must be used for every trip through the buffet. I felt confident in that they are doing everything they can to keep everyone healthy and be able to stay open.
Overall, we definitely enjoyed our meal. We look forward to returning in the future. And I will try to remember to get pictures of the food. Until then, enjoy a picture I took of the cool...
Read moreI was visiting the area and found them on google maps. The food was overcooked and dry. My Diet Pepsi tasted flat. When we went to pay their debit card machine went out and I didn’t have enough cash so I requested where was the closest ATM and I would be right back. As we was about to leave to go to the ATM she asked which one of us was going to stay behind like she was holding us hostage. My wife volunteered to wait for me to return. I came back with the cash within just a few minutes and showed her a receipt of my bank balance as proof that we had money. While we were leaving the server stopped us and apologized for the owner, she said that the owner messes up the card reader all the time and acts like it’s the customer’s fault. I really hope the server can find a new job because she deserves to work for...
