El Vaquero — Restaurant in Paris

When this place forst opened it was great. However they've had the same decor since, the food was dry and bland. Didn't get to go check out the bathroom situation but they used to be backed up all the time. So when we went last week after not going in almost 10 year's here's the thing we had the SAME issue's as before. Slow service, drinks came out after almost 20 minutes, food when we finally got it was dry, bland and not ice cold but not warm or "fresh" I am completely confused as to how they still have so many customers with the sparky front girl's, the slow service and nasty food that me and my husband only paid almost 55$ for food we ate 3/4 bites of then spent the next few days being sick to our stomachs. I'm going to tell you straight up...you can't find better Mexican food anywhere. Many folks drive in from out of town to eat here. No buffet tho. We eat there as much as 3 to 4 times a week. The only bad thing I can say is that they went up on their prices for just about everything. It hasn't stopped me from going because their food is really good. And their service is excellent. Last night I tried the burrito carne de sada for the first time, I'm sure I butchered the name, but it was excellent. Steak strips, rice, beans. Didn't care for the food way way to much red sauce on everything and I had a chicken burrito and an enchilada and I couldn't tell yhem apart no cheese no rice or beans with my meal and I asked the waitress if it came with it she said yes then the other person got a combo with a burrito and tostada and a chili reno the tostda had so much guacamole and beans and lettuce on it we didn't even no it was the tosda the burrito was so dry and no flavor and the plate came out with 4 inches of red sauce it was horrible the other guest ordered to burrito one chicken one beef no flavor dry and more red sauce tons of lettuce the only good thing was a chicken taco and the beef taco they had right amount of meat and...
