You can see my previous review, listed below. I'd given them four stars. Tonight, they lost our business! Ordered four take out bento boxes. My husband got home and we discovered that our order was messed up. Got to checking our receipt and not only was our order wrong, we were charged for three hibachi and one bento box. The few dollars extra they charged us is not even what lost our business! People make mistakes, and we understand that. The bento boxes come with sushi and a spring roll. Hibachi does not. Yet the hibachi costs more. Regardless, we ordered bento boxes and we received hibachi. So we paid more and didn't get the sushi or spring rolls.
I called the restaurant and talked to the first girl that answered, then had to sit there while she and another girl discussed how the bento boxes always get messed up. Then another person chimed in that we didn't order bento boxes and that's why we didn't get sushi or a spring roll. That person then got on the phone to try to tell me that we didn't order bento boxes, and that's why we didn't get any sushi or spring rolls. I explained to her what I ordered. She then offered to give us the sushi and spring rolls (that we originally ordered) the next time we come in. I was blown away! How kind of them to offer us, what we ordered! No apology, nothing. Just an offer of the sushi and spring rolls we ordered. She then put me on hold, and a man who I presume was the owner got on the phone. He proceeded to offer the same explanation as the previous girls. I AGAIN explained that we did not order ANY hibachi! We ordered ONLY bento boxes. He then proceeded to tell me that the hibachi comes with more shrimp, and that it costs more. I still have no idea what that has to do with anything! I didn't get what I ordered! At this point, I was just done! When you drive twenty minutes to pick up take out, and twenty minutes back... and your order isn't right, it's pretty frustrating! But then to have the business not even be understanding or apologetic is ridiculous! I told the man that I would be giving their business a review on google so that future customers would know that if their order is messed up, Miso's will be so kind as to offer you - your order. I don't want anything for free, I didn't want anything extra. But to expect customers to come back another time to get what they should have received to begin with, is ridiculous! And no one ever offered to refund us the difference what we were overcharged. Pretty frustrating to get charged for a more expensive dish, that isn't what you ordered, and get less food! So here is where he lost our business: When I told him that I was going to be putting all of this on google review - his response was "Whatever" and he hung up the phone. Yup, won't be going back...

Recently as of August 26th, 2023 it seems to have went down hill.
I did a carryout/delivery order over the weekend. Took forever to get it thru grub hub almost 2 1\2 hours. But, it finally came. I'm starving and excited.. Yay! My food!!
So, I set down with my ol' lady to watch a movie. It's a Friday night.. We just having a lazy night together and we are chowing down eating not sure what she had but I had steak soba (meat cooked medium) although they NEVER ONCE have got the "cook" right on the meat.. out of all the times I've been. I'm not even sure why they ask.. Anyways, I bit into a chunk of steak that just had that old spoiled beef tast like it was right on the verge of expiring if not already. I was like ugh that was gross as I swallowed it... I said to the wife that piece of steak was old tasting she said she (some) like that too...
This has happened before on previous orders as well. Luckily it didn't tear my stomach up but yeah..
Way I see it, just lazy poor quality if you ask me. If the meat is getting old toss it and wash the pans and cut up fresh.. Don't try to mask it in with fresh meat. That is just gross and cheap of management.
Get it together misos! Your food and reviews are suffering! I probably won't order from here for a while. That's a shame bc I love Japanese food and...
Read moreExcellent....this is coming from a 1st time Japanese eating person. I had such reservations about going afraid it would be something that I would not like to eat. I dont do fish or shrimp so it was really high up on my list of don't do. But to my surprise my friend talked me thru what she thought I might like. So she had me to get the box which there were several of. They all consist of salad, soup, spring rolls as well as fried or white rice. The hard part was what kind of me and for me it was easy...Steak...it was delicious, perfectly cooked, tender, on a bed of mixed veggies. I also had a Clear soup which was a beef broth with mushrooms and scallions, served very hot the way it needed to be. As appetizers we had a fried cream cheese, cream cheese with a hint of powder sugar mixed in (what it tasted like) a and a dollop placed in the middle of a wonton wrap and deep fried. Absolutely wonderful. Qe both had so much we were able to bring to go boxes back. I am so looking forward to going back. My only draw back was and it has No reflections on them was there were 2 very small children that screamed throughout our whole experience, that made the patrons get louder to talk over the children causing a slight headache. But with that being said it takes nothing away from the food, decor or the serve which was all good. That is why I'm sticking...
