Me and a group of 4 went out on a Saturday afternoon to Artisan for an early dinner. Our main issues occurred after ordering food and drink. One of our party had ordered a mojito which after awhile of watching other tables get drinks that they ordered after us with around 20 to 30 minutes since we ordered passing we decided just to ask to have the drink canceled which for some reason had our waiter really confused why we wanted to cancel a drink that we feared we never would get which was proven right when the waiter confessed he just didn't put the order in which had us irritated because we sat and watched as he spent a lot of his time chatting it up with other mostly female tables while we were left waiting. Eventually after waiting for an extended amount of time our food slowly started to trickle out of the kitchen one by one. First was a cheese pizza with the most laughable crust I've ever seen to the point the waiter himself said they really messed up our friends pizza's crust as if it was some kind of joke. I wish i had taken a picture it was that bad with multiple burned spots, half with barely any crust, and the other ballooned and collapsed honestly looking like someone stepped on it. Next were the 3 calzones we ordered some of the most expensive items on the menu. All three calzones were underfilled to the point one half of all the calzones didn't have filling in the calzone and was just bread. We were disappointed too because the filling was great but it had seemed they were incapable of putting more than a teaspoon of it in their $20 meal. Also this is a place you will be paying for extra sauce like ranch which we did order a cup for our cheese pizza but just like the mojito our waiter had to be reminded because he really liked going and chatting it up with tables. There was a birthday in our party and the waiter did offer us a free dessert when we had first sat down which was great, but after the extended wait time and our waiter seeming to get more and more annoyed at us for just wondering about our food at the end of the meal we just wanted to get out of the spot and enjoy dessert and drinks anywhere else which on that strip isn't that hard to do. All in all we just felt that the food was just too overpriced for the service and food we had received and there were too many other places around we would spend our...
Read moreI absolutely love this place. The owners are very friendly. The adult staff members are also very friendly, helpful, and make me feel like family. A couple of the teenagers are awesome, and the others that I have seen there are always on their phones, and standing around talking. The food is always great, and I love being avle to build my own puzza and salad without worrying about how much "extras" cost. Artisan Pizza is serious about having a certain price for any number of toppings. I love that! Also, I was recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease and I stopped in to ask if they had gluten free options, and what their process was to avoid cross contamination. I was pleasantly surprised that they do have a premade gluten free crust, they keep the pizza on a clean tray, they make sure to put on new gloves to handle the pizzea, use one pizza cutter specifically for the gluten free pizzas, and leave the puzza on its tray while cooking. The entire process was awesome! Also, the gluten free crust was actualky really good, not too think, still slightly soft, and I could only notice very small differences from the other crust that is hand made in the shop. There is a taste difference, but if you already eat gluten free then you will probably not be comparing the gluten free crust to non gluten free crust. The other thing I notices is that the gluten free crust is not as easily pick up my hand as the non gluten free crust, but it didnt bother mean and I just used a fork and knife instead of my fingers. Not a big deal at all. I REALLY love this place and wish I was able to visit more frequently. I have enjoyed every single visit since they first opened, and I send people there all the time because I love it so much. Not only is the food great, and the prices are good, but the staff truly makes your experience more personal and gives a family type of atmosphere. I can never remember the shorter lady's name. She has blonde hair, loves to talk, and always makes me feel welcomed and has actually showed compassion and care in my recent health conditions. You will not be disappointed...
Read moreFor the several years I have lived in Parker...I would always complain that we really don't have many good pizza places. Of the many I tried, I was embarrassed to say that Papa Johns did a better job for quality of pizza than any pizza place considered "fancy" out here. I would have to go out of the city just to find decent Pizza, or settle for Costco pizza. I would go to Mod pizza if I wanted a custom pizza and that was...OK, but that is all until I learned about Artisan Pizza Co from a friend.
Ever since my first visit here, I stopped going out of my city, to Mod Pizza, and only ever visit Artisan for my pizza needs. This pizza is the most delicious pizza I've had in the years of living in Parker, and so glad it's privately owned and not a corporate chain! The staff are all super friendly, the place is super clean. The ingredients are fresh and of great quality. If I want to cheat on my diet, I would instantly choose Artisan. It would be fair to say I think Papa Johns misses me now, haha.
Thank you Artisan Pizza for bringing delicious Pizza to Parker! Keep doing what you're doing!
*For the record, if anyone says the pizza in my photos look crispy/burnt in some parts, this is because I specifically ask them to cook mine extra since I prefer the crispiness. And they make sure to cook mine that exceeds my...
