Mayas' Restaurant & Sports Cantina — Restaurant in Parker

We arrived at 7pm on Sunday June 13th. The hostess announced they were out of salsa so she wasn't seating anyone, unless you asked yo be seated. We placed our order about 20min later. They were out of shrimp dishes and a variety of other stuff as well. I ordered fajitas (chicken and steak) she said they had everything for that dish.. We sat for one hour and 10 min. before our food arrived. The steak was burnt there was no chicken and there was a pile of diced raw onion on my plate, no cooked peppers no cooked onion and no tortillas. My husbands enchilada was the Size of a taquito (the dish should have had two but only came with one). The portions were very small and the rice was hard. Our drinks sat empty most of the time. A few of the other customers shared their disappointed as well. When I politely ask for a manager, our waitress said there wasn't one. We didn't eat, we paid for our drinks and left. Sarape is closed on Sundays so mayas gets all the business you would think they would step up their service on Sundays as to win over the customers but they do not. On another note, the seating is really bad and there's a games that kids play that slams really loudly, it startled diners repeated. Mayas is not an enjoyable atmosphere or comfortable to sit. The service was really bad so was the food. We went to Rupertos the food was fresh and good and fast service. Sarape hands down has better service and fresh...

Being native here in the town of Parker has never been nice. So I'm having my car worked on in the area so thought I'd get a bite to eat. Mayas looked like a good place.Well the food came and the beans wear burnt it always seems to be a problem at most restaurants in the area to complain so I was very hesitant to let the waitress know there was a problem. I let her know it was burnt she did not offer to make a different plate she said want a side of bean I got a combo plate of beans and rice and so I mixed my food so the whole plate tasted bad. She said no one else complained like I knew she was going to say and she couldn't replace it unless a pay for another plate. I was thinking she would rather ok making another plate I only eaten 4 bites. I told her just bring the check ill pay and leave. Right before this 2 .minutes before she gave the older white people free drink cuz the had to wait for their regular order but it was a situation then I told her my issue. This place was extremely disappointing. Stopped here on our way home from the river. We were one of only 4 tables in the place . They brought out chips and salsa and got our drinks right away but then they just disappeared. I had to go find someone to get our drinks refilled. The other family in the back room with us got up multiple times to find the young girl waiting on them. We had a middle aged white lady waiting on us that smelled she rolled around in an ash tray. She was nice and friendly which is the only reason they get 2 stars and not one. Now onto the food. Salsa was awful. It might have just been tomato sauce. Zero flavor. Refried beans were terrible as well. Completely bland which ruined my tostada as well. My taco shell was like eating rubber. My daughter didnt even finish 1 of her flautas. My son ate about half of his enchiladas. Only my wife finished her food and likely because she skipped breakfast. To top it all off.. the door on their bathroom grinds against the floor and they clearly dont know how to empty their trashes....
