Gabe’s Pizza Place — Restaurant in Parkesburg

We had a bad sandwich shop experience one night and 10 minutes later ended up here at Gabe's, We Absolutely Love this Pizza place! The food, The staff and the cleanliness are top notch. We have been wanting to try this place for a while and with a recommendation from my mechanic, we tried it and we are very satisfied. The first visit got me when I saw a young man having trouble paying with his card, he left without his pizza it was already in the oven and they were going to let him have it, he left and they gave it to me and as I offered to pay for it they said no need and that is the first time I have ever had a free pizza(along with the one I bought). I have never had a free pie, even from the place we used every weekend for 5 years. This is our new place from now on because it a pizza place run right! Pizza is my go to, it makes Friday night movie night so much better. Pro tip: Grandma's Pizza, Thank me later! Give Gabes a try and you'll be a loyal customer as well. Was not a fan of the 3.9% charge on debit/credit purchases. Their cost of doing business is not my problem. For a business the credit goes directly into their account, no worries. Tell me when I order so I can decide. I won't be back. The food was good. Just read the response from the owner. Unfortunately keeping the cost down at the cost to the consumer is fallacy right. We are still paying the cost. So choosing not to frequent is prudent. You misunderstood, credit card transactions go into a bank account. You pay your fees from that. My brother owned a pizza shop, I understand the business. He absorbed the cost, didn't pass it...

So, the regular pizza is a decent mom & pop pie, nothing crazy but not bad at all, but I’m from Jersey, so I’m a bit snobby with pizza lol BUT, I tried their Gramma’s pizza… woah! Honestly truly holds up with the super Italian Jersey spots I frequent. The Gramma’s pizza is now one of my favorite food items in the area. Oh and also, the chicken corn soup is phenomenal as well.
