Burger King — Restaurant in Parkland

Not sure what’s going on at this store. A few months ago I order a whopper jr with cheese through drive through. When I opened my burger the cheese was missing. They never gave me a receipt, but I parked and went in to ask if they could put cheese on it because I hate it plain. The girl at the counter had an attitude and told me I hadn’t asked for cheese and I know I did. I also paid what I always pay for that meal and she was charging me extra for the cheese. I don’t like being confrontational so I just paid for the cheese…again. TODAY I came back and asked for the same meal, “Can I get a number five with cheese no pickle.” As the guy keeps asking what size combo, sauce, etc, I notice he put heavy cheese-2 slices and I’m being charged more than what I usually pay. I point that out and they blank out the screen and say they’ll fix it. They never did. When I pull up there’s a female at the window who hands me the soda and keeps her hand out for my card. I ask her how much because I was being charged extra for extra cheese I didn’t want, but she takes my card and closes the door on me as I’m speaking. Mind you, I’m not a person who speaks in an unkind tone. So I don’t understand why she was so rude to just shut the door on me that way. They gave me my food as I asked for the receipt. She tossed it in the bag but gave the guy who took the order the bag to give to me before they opened the door again. When I checked the receipt, the charge for two slices of cheese was still on there. I just drove off, but I am very angry at how I was treated. Twice I’ve paid for extra cheese that unnecessarily and when I asked nicely I was treated poorly. As a past team member (I worked in a BK as a teen for three years) you need to train your people to do better. I think today is the last time I’ll ever come back to this particular store. This is my local go-to BK and the day before Hurricane Irma hit us here in Boca Raton, I stopped in while out trying to find bottled water. I was the only person in the shop and there were no cars in the drive-thru line. I ordered my regular Whopper with xtra onions and after ringing me up and taking my credit card I was told that they were not making any specials today and I would only be getting a Whopper made the regular way. I looked around the restaurant as if to say, "there's nobody else here." The cashier new what I was thinking and snapped at me that, "we have lives too!" What??? I asked to speak to the manager who told me that if I really wanted it made a special way to get a job there and make it myself. I then asked for the number to the district office. I left a message for someone by the name of Jonathan who never returned my call. It was obvious that these employees were angry that they were being forced to work when Hurricane Irma was a day or two away, however, that's still not a reason to treat a customer so horribly. The 2nd. Worst Bk in Boca Raton. After the One on dixie hyway. Upon entering the one on 441 off palmetto park rd. and stepping in, my shoe were squeaking from unknown liquid residuals on the floors. And then having to walk around food particles littered about, I looked around to see tables uncleaned also. If I wasn't so hungry, I would've turned around t right then, and find another place to eat. But then, after waiting in line (about 8-10 minutes) with another patron in front of me, a large woman acted surprised, from barking out orders to other employees in the rear to half- heartily greet us, and ask the women in front of me, what she wanted, and she said the place needs a good cleaning. She then rolled her eyes, and says you can take it to go if you don't like it. We Both proceeded to leave. This is a repeating issues with the service and cleanliness of the two burger Kings in Boca Raton, they have woefully deteriorated from lack of proper management and supervision.. I will not be looking to Bk anymore as my fast-food stops...
