We had concluded this must be a Sundown restaurant. We used to come here all the time but as of late I’ve been attending alone. I’ve been spoken to rudely by a few servers now. They seem angry that you’re even in there. But today cut the cake. I walked in quietly. Didn’t have much to say at 7am. I asked a couple questions about pricing vs a meal but no real service or answers were given except a few friend options so I passed and continued with my order. But If you picture a resentful mom who smoked thru her entire pregnancy and then decided to open a diner…. That’s seems what happened here. These people are not happy to be working there. It went from novelty not nice to now, down right offensive. I went to leave and stopped to look at pies only to hear the server and customers talking about me poorly. The audacity some people have to be comfortably rude, and maybe racist or classist. We are not white but our money sure spends the same. And our voice carry far to be so cavalier in this climate. Guess they serve rudeness and crabbiness for free as a side to any dish you order. Such a shame. Food was just mediocre. Since the service sucks- it makes the extra two minutes further elsewhere totally worth the drive. The food was just okay to begin with. It’s breakfast- I wasn’t aware you could make it just as poorly. If I could give fewer...

Stepping into this small diner, you immediately feel its laid-back charm. The atmosphere is genuine, the kind of place where you can comfortably settle in with a cup of coffee and not feel rushed, or be able to get in and out in 15min if needed. The waitstaff are friendly and attentive with their service without being overbearing. What's more, the turnaround time on food is impressively quick, making it a great spot if you're looking for a speedy bite.
However, while the experience of being there is delightful, the food itself is a bit of a mixed bag. For a classic eggs and bacon breakfast, you're in good hands – it's prepared quickly and hits the spot for a simple, satisfying start to the day. And if you have a sweet tooth, their cinnamon rolls are definitely a good option.
Unfortunately, beyond these diner staples, the rest of the menu would be a gamble. Although perfectly edible, many dishes lack that certain "oomph" that makes a meal memorable. It's not bad food, but it's not particularly noteworthy either.
In short, this diner is a fantastic choice for a casual, no-frills breakfast, especially if you're craving some eggs and bacon or a cinnamon roll in a friendly, unhurried setting. Just keep your expectations in check for...
Read more6-3-20-Downgrading to 1 star. Was in today after being gone due the COVID having the restaurant dining room closed. I am a long time customer and was NOT welcomed back by either Vickie or Roxanne's mom Brenda (who is kinda mean anyway to everyone) despite BOTH knowing me by face and name.
Ordered a Burger and Fries. The Burger was almost undeabile and left most of it and the fries where lukewarm. It's clear the burger has been frozen a long time and just cooked. I would have complained but know from experience the neither Vickie and certainly not Brenda could give two bits how a customer feels. I just paid and left.
Finally the place was a GHOST TOWN (I came in at noon) and I was only one of three people in and then the only one. You would think they would be overjoyed to see anyone walk thru the door but I guess not.
Folks for the money you spend you deserve better service and quality of food. Just DO NOT go there. Make the drive to the Corner Cafe in Riverside and you be very glad you did.
Been a long time customer and the prices are fair, food is good, and service is excellent. As a regular they even remember my name and what I like to drink. Sometimes I do not think they value their regular customers but overall a great place to eat with a...
