We tried Milk n' Tea last Friday since the Tsaocaa in Parma closed. We drink and make a lot of milk tea with boba. Unfortunately, Milk n' Tea did not meet our expectations.
We ordered a brown sugar milk tea and mango-passion fruit tea with mango popping boba.
The brown sugar tea is described on the menu as "milk tea with a bold tea flavor." There was no bold tea flavor. It tasted very watered down with a sickening and strange cotton candy flavor to it rather than brown sugar.
The mango-passion fruit tea literally tasted like a peach Snapple. It was sweet and bitter at the same time with a very artificial taste. It was so bad we threw it away.
Keep in mind that none of their drinks come with boba. It's 85c extra. It could be a bit confusing/misleading to some to see the photos on their website show boba in the drinks.
Their portions are not as large as Tsaocaa.
Very disappointed in...
Read moreHaving recently moved from the San Francisco Bay Area where Boba is consumed more than water, I am happy to report that I’ve found a favorite Boba spot in Cleveland! The drinks here are always flavorful, and I especially love the Vietnamese Iced Coffee which has always been my drink of choice. On top of that, the bubble waffles (I think that’s what they’re called) are so delicious and I highly recommend them.
The restaurant itself is so cute and features ample seating for anyone who wants to do work or just chill. There are even board games, and a fireplace! It is kept so clean and feels modern. The one employee I’ve interacted with there is so friendly and even gave me (and every other customer) a rose on Valentine’s Day.
Do yourself a favor and try out Milk n’ Tea, especially if you love Vietnamese Iced Coffees like I do (seriously, they’re impossible to find...
Read moreI don’t often give bad reviews, but I have to preface this that I’m a boba snob/brat. I’ve been to countless boba shops all around the US and Asia over 20 years. I always order a standard plain milk tea with boba at 25-30% sugar so that I have a good basis to compare to other shops. Even for the Midwest, the quality of this bubble tea was subpar. They made the tea to my order. The service was nice. But the taste was not there or even close. The tea tasted like it was watered down bagged Lipton black tea. The boba was good at the beginning because it was still a little warm. But after sitting in the cold milk tea for 10 minutes, the boba was hard and no longer chewy. I went on a Friday night around 6:30pm. Staying this because I know sometimes the tapioca quality isn’t the best when it’s near closing time, but...
