Such a wonderful little hidden gem with great service and a super fun bartender. Anthony was so welcoming and fun for my first trip to New Jersey and my first visit to Hoover's.. in fact I was at first going to go from there to a second place and decided after having so much fun with the local crowd , to stay at Hoover still closing and I had an amazing time! It had been a pretty long day and I was nursing a Little bit of heartache to be honest, and everyone just welcomed me on in, even being a newcomer with open arms.this little place will stay in my heart forever and be on the top of my list when I come back to Jersey to visit!! Negative stars! Been going here for years. “ Patrice” She overcharges everyone and acts like she doesn’t know you when you’re obviously there. Super weird from a bartender. Had the security Old man guard pick me up and touch me without consent. A COMPLETE CREEP. They claim private property and your rights are ABUSED. DO NOT GO here. People like to go when she isn’t there. Never have been more disappointed as a local with her bipolar attitude where she decides to rudely yell at people. FIRE HER! My total "go to" bar. Found this place like a year ago and I come back weekly. Made many new friends. Great local friendly crowd. Bartenders are amazing especially Sarah! Krissy and Anthony keep up with the crowd under impossible odds sometimes. Amazing rotating craft beer menu. Really good snacks to eat if you would like. Package goods sold until 2am closing. Very inexpensive as well and ALWAYS have a drink or shot special going on. No thugs or troublemakers there EVER. If this place ever burns down or something I wouldnt know what to do.
