It’s no secret that the crust is the secret to good pizza and Tabor Pizzeria nailed it. Thin, light, crispy and delicious it’s the base of a great pie. In this case, a Hawaiian Pie with generous amounts of ham and pineapple and a subtle but delicious sauce. As if the food wasn’t fantastic already the staff was even better. We ate in and our first interaction was with the counter staff who were polite and quick to help us. Our waitress Brenda was an absolute delight. She made us feel like we were the only people in the restaurant with her attention to detail and personal touch. The facility was clean, brightly lit and abundantly populated with surprisingly comfortable seating inside. With a relatively small dining room it’s hard to make it not feel crowded with as much seating but they hit the nail on the head. It makes for an intimate and relaxing mirror. A limited amount of outside seating was available as well but we opted to eat inside. Food prices were on the less expensive side which was nice. The only real complaint I had was a lack of fountain soda’s. We opted for a 2 liter and Brenda made sure we had cups and ice to make up for any inconvenience. Tabor Pizzeria was a great local find who made a few out of towners like us feel like family.

Super friendly staff, plenty of parking and a large dining area inside and outside. They also sell by the slice and were in the process of making what seemed to be a few hundred garlic knots! I was asked if I was okay with the slightly longer wait for the bar pie but hey thats why I was here! The thin and crispy was solid. Not sure it hits a 7.9 for me maybe a 7.4- crisp crust, def zero flop, and ample sauce but just a smidge less cheese than I like. Note- they make their own sauce as well. Not at all discouraged, I took one look at the bar pie and knew this was my calling. Also crispy, tons of cheese and that caramelized cheese halo- yep - easily a 8.5 in my book! I was told they can do whatever you want with the bar pie- toppings under cheese, sauce on top, etc. Def coming back for more of those!

One thing we miss most living on the West Coast is good pizza and NJ has the best. Our first meal after landing was straight to a traditional NJ pizzeria. We found a great one if Tabor. Large dining room with open bright space. There is outdoor seating as well. They provide table service which a friendly, and attentive. The caesar salad was excellent and a generous serving. The garlic knots were delicious!! But the pizza was the exactly what we came for and it fantastic!! The dough was exceptional. Parking was ample. Beverages are by the bottle or can. Price is fair for the quality. Definitely impressed and strongly recommend.

WOW...!!! This place is great...!!! It all with a started with a trip to see a comedy show about 3 miles away. My wife and I always look for the best pizza a town offers before we travel there. So we always watch the Dave Portnoy bit online, "One Bite Pizza Reviews." That's when we found "Tabor Pizzeria" in New Jersey. What a find it was...!!! Portnoy gave this place a great review, so we planned this place in our travels. We walked in this super clean, really cool casual dinning establishment. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. I recognized the owner from the video and told him right off the bat that I saw him on the Portnoy review. He was so happy and humble. I told him that we drove 2 1/2 hours to visit and he was so appreciative...!!! What a great guy...!!! We had a large cheese pie and it was delicious...!!! The crust was perfect and the sauce...WOW...!!! The sauce was/is amazing...!!! Everything and everyone there were so nice...!!! Thank You Tabor Pizzeria for great food and memories... We...

Stopped in for lunch. One of many pizza spots around the area I work in. Tried 3 slices all together. The winner was the plain Sicilian slice. Wasn't bad, not a bunch of flavor but done pretty well and not burnt. Also tried two traditional slices, one pepperoni and one mushroom, all premade slices for the lunch crowd. Flavor fell short on both slices. Sauce is just there, cheese is ok but nothing special. Toppings were the only flavor to be had. Unfortunately, the flavor was overwhelmed by the burnt bottom on both slices. Also, the stretch on the pie was terrible. Thin middle lacking support progressively getting too thick to the outer edges killing what little flavor that was there. Overall, not impressed. They seem to be a local favorite but I say chalk these guys up to just another mediocre pizza joint to join the club of the hundreds of so so pizza...
