Our group visited this restaurant on Sat., Apr. 13, 2024. The restaurant was busy, but not overly packed. We had a reservation, but when we arrived, the table was not ready. After a wait, we were seated. It took some time for the waiter to acknowledge us. When he did come over, he opened our bottles of wine and rattled off the appetizers and specials for the evening. He gave us about one to two seconds and then asked us if we were ready to order. To which we said, please give us a little bit of time. Unfortunately, that was the last we would see of our waiter for the next 30 to 40 minutes. We continued to talk amongst ourselves and honestly lost track of time. We did have to ask multiple times for our drinks as the busboy was constantly running from table to table. We had to ask the waiter and the busboy three times for ice until we finally got it 30 minutes later. A person in our party finally said, “has anybody seen the waiter?” We all realized it had been quite a bit of time. Trying to flag him down then became an impossible feat, as he was hiding in the kitchen. Looking around the dining room it was evident that there was only one waiter and one busboy for the entire room. Patrons at other tables were visibly annoyed with the fact that no food was being served and their checks were nowhere to be found after multiple requests. We noticed another party had arrived quite sometime after we got to the restaurant. They received their salad before we were served any food. When we finally did get the busboy attention, he acknowledged us with barely a glance and gave us some more water. After multiple complaints, we were finally able to put our orders in and wound up waiting an hour and a half and still no food was served. To placate us, the waiter finally got out a semi-cold plate of calamari. The dish was chewy and barely warm. Visibly angry, one of our friends had had enough. He stood up and went over to the kitchen and told the waiter that we would be leaving and the dish of badly cooked squid was on them. We unceremoniously all stood up grabbed our bottles of wine and walked out...

Amazing Italian in the Morris county area, our go-to for Italian. Haven’t been disappointed in any thing we’ve ordered. All dishes are always cooked to perfection and always tastes so fresh (even though it’s delivery)!
Some of our favorite things: penne vodka - we add chicken, it’s always a healthy portion. Every time we have it, the first bite is always eye opening delicious.
chicken parm - comes with penne. Sauce, cheese, penne is perfectly portioned
Meatballs - perfectly sized (aka not a single massive meatball as some places do), topped with ricotta cheese. Sauce is just the right amount for each ball. As a sauce lover, I’d prefer a little more sauce.
Shrimp scampi - not your traditional scampi. Comes with linguine and a thicker sauce and not too garlicky (although this might be an outcome from delivery)
Cavatelli broccoli - so simple but so good
Salads and bread come with the meals, which is a nice touch. On occasion, we’ve seen some delays in the delivery (using seamless) but I’m chalking it up to the delivery guys not being in the...
Read moreUnfortunately my dining experience was disappointing. I came here with a friend fir dinner on a Friday night. The staff was pleasant but the food was substandard. We had a multi course meal: Spiedini all Romano, Frito Misto, Tortellini Carbonara, Pollo Verde and Saltimboca. We were excited to have the Carbonara as the menu states its prepared the tradition Roman way. Unfortunately it was Americanized and made with cream not egg yolks. In addition the pasta was way overcooked and I'm pretty sure it was microwaved. The Spiedini was decent and the frito misto was ok; calamari was good but the shrimp not so much. The chicken Verde was drowning in sauce maybe to compensate for the dried out chicken, and the veg were overcooked to the point of being mushy. The Veal Saltimbocca portion was extremely small but was served with what looked like 3 lbs of mashed potatoes, again covered in sauce. It was not a pleasant...
