Taco Bell — Restaurant in Parsons

The place was okay. The first thing I noticed was a big rusty thing that held the sign to the building. Sadly I feel that whoever built the place skipped out on finishing the building by not covering up the metal on the outside to be exposed to the weather. You might need a Tetnus shot from looking at the building.

However on the inside, the music playing was an excellent choice. You kinda got into a zone of feeling nice. It would allow you to enjoy eating in a calm setting and not worry about anything until you had to leave.

The food wasn't great quality. I oreder a $5 box that came with a drink. It came with 2 tacos, both of which were broken and made eating difficult to eat without making a mess. Greasing getting everywhere from the meat leaking through the cracks, or just from falling apart in the hand. The Stacked Quesadilla wasn't really stacked. I mean I know your not going to get what the poster looks like, but this one was just sloppily made. Even taking small bites on one end would cause the filling to explode out the other end. There was just a mess of cheese and other contents. On a bright side though there was a few napkins that came in the box.

The soda fountain was just straight up sticky, I do underatand that it gets that way with use throughout the day, but it seemed like they didn't have someone wiping it down occasionally, and left residue on your hands if you aren't paying attention. During a time when folks are worried about Covid-19, wiping down even the soda fountain should have been a top thing when...

It's taco bell. You already know what to expect. What would interest me is the traffic. I was in line for about 35-40 minutes. But it was hard to say what was causing the congestion. Dinner rush in combination with hefty orders if I had to guess...it seemed like several vehicles spent a lot of time placing one big order or multiple orders. Again not the crews fault but this particular Taco Bell seems to get slammed pretty good between 7-10pm so if you're not patient maybe go to the main Street location as it's the closest alternative if you craving a quick meal from TB. Then again it could be just as busy Im not sure how it would compare. Customer service was excellent very polite and apologetic for the wait which was totally understandable considering the amount...

It's fast food, really fast. I wasn't even done paying when the guy was right in front of me yelling my name, order ready. Worked out great too, even though it turned out to be an order for someone in the drive through. It was the same as mine and since it'd already been in my hands, order was mine. The food was actually really good today, I enjoyed my meal there.

While there we witnessed a real act of kindness. One of the staff bought some food for these 4 kids that didn't have enough money to get something for each of them. Out of her own pocket, I was impressed. So I ordered a LG plate of nachos for their table. Those kids will remember this day. Plenty of free parking with handicap access....
