I have Stage 4 Invasive Triple Negative Ductal Breast Cancer with metastasis to my lymphatic system, blood, and my liver. So, my lifelong best friends from high school came to see me and took me to EL Pueblito’s (I haven’t been there in 3 years because I lived in Dallas for 2 years and then moved back a year ago when I was diagnosed. My friends called ahead to ask for a space where I wouldn’t be around anyone because my immune system is immunocompromised. I also had a a friend from high school that wanted to pay for all of our appetizers 🥑🫕, our meals 🥘, drinks🍹, and our shared fried ice cream dessert 🍨! They accommodated is with EVERYTHING! The service was EXCELLENT. The food was EXTREMELY good! And they don’t shy on how much they give you either. I had leftovers for 2 days. This is better than I remembered it and decided that I would do a monthly take out for me and my parents (I got a to go order of beef fajitas for them and the 2 of them was able to make a meal out if it twice). We were also allowed to take one Margarita drink per person to go with us back to the hotel. To anyone passing through town, it’s the Mexican restaurant to eat at and probably one of the two best places to eat here. We spent a lot, but we had 2 jumbo margarita drinks per person while there, we had guacamole 🥑, 2 white cheese 🫕 dips, an order of extra sour cream, a big dinner for all of us (chicken fajitas, enchiladas rancheros, and carne asadas), a HUGE fried I’ve cream dessert 🍨, and was able to take 3 jumbo margaritas to go (1 for each), plus a tip. So, $30 to $50 per person is pretty cheap for everything...
Read moreI was in town yesterday visiting a good friend of mine. When we decided to go and eat at El Pubeblito's. When I asked our server which I think was the owner a question about there menu he was not really able to answer my question. So by my mistake I went ahead and order. When food came mine had onions it. Which it did not say anything about having onions in it on the menu. Which Im very allergic to onion if I would have eaten the meal it would have not been a good outcome. So I went and talked to my server and was basically told if I wanted something else I would have to purchase it. So I guess the days are over of the customer is always right. Not at this restaurant. So my suggestion is put it on the menu. That everything comes with onion and then i wouldn't have wasted my money or time even eating there. Or learn to speak better english so I could have had a conversation with the server before I even order. Or I could have sued them when I ended up at hospital blown up like a balloon. Which would have been cheaper just making the customer happy. WELL NEVER EAT THERE...
Read moreMy husband and I stopped by on our way home from our daughters. We got a table immediately on a Thursday evening. Our server showed up seconds within sitting down. Chips and salsa and drinks delivered very quickly. The food arrived very fast also. We ordered the small queso and some of their hot salsa. Both were so good and worth the extra charge for the hot salsa. The regular salsa was very good and had a bit of heat also. I ordered the beef Taquitos with rice. They were very good and the quality of the beef was amazing. It came with 3, but I could only finish 1. Not at all sad about another meal.or two out of these. My husband got the fish tacos, which is his normal at most Mexican restaurants. There were 3 to his order, along with refried beans and Pico de gallo. The tacos were loaded with fish, and they were so good. Maybe some of the best fish tacos he's ever had. He also had 2 to take home for future meals. The atmosphere and space in this place were super nice. Very clean, and the service and food were superb. We would definitely eat here again and highly...
