Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Pasadena

I waited at the drive thru for 10 minutes and no response. I thought maybe the machine was not working so I drove to the next window. I ordered 2 Orders of Bourbon black peppers, 6 pieces of chickens and e6 biscuits. She said she only has 1 order and the 2nd order waiting of 18 minutes. I don’t mind the wait so I paid for it. I waited for 25 minutes. On my way home I checked and instead of the Bourbon chicken that was ordered, I got half fried Chicken. I drive back to the restaurant and told her I order Bourbon black peppers. She said it is the same thing. I said she has 1 on her rack and pointed to her and said that is the Bourbon and not this. She continued argued with me and said it was the same. Chicken tasted old , must fried in old oil. Tasted bitter. I do not recommend coming here. I will never visit this...

I like to say i’m a foodie, but I’ve never once wrote a food review in my entire life. This place was amazing. I ordered the 12 pc family combo. (spicy) It took around 8 minutes for me to receive my order. The ladies were very kind. When I received mash potato, I asked to exchange the side with coleslaw and they complied very quickly. No question asked, even though on my receipt it said “mash potato”. The ladies also gave me small plates and lots of ketchup without me asking. I had just signed up for their rewards program to receive 3 free tenders. When my friends and I were eating, we noticed we did not receive it. Horrible. I sat at the order box for 5 minutes before anyone said anything. Then when she did decide to take my order she was rude and kept cutting me off. I got part of my order out, and she gives me a total. Completely cut me off. I pull around to the window to sit here another 8 minutes trying to flag someone down. She finally comes to the window...I try to tell her that I didn't get to finish ordering because she cut me off, and she says yes, but your order is ready. I tell her again louder that she cut me off, I had more to order. Oh, she says. What else do you want.
