I'm not used to getting lousy customer service at this particular Dairy Queen and I find it very disappointing that they would have somebody in a customer service as well as management position who is very obviously in the habit of being condescending. This does not set well with me as a customer and somebody that has 40+ years of customer service experience. The young lady that was cashing us out, though timid, would be much better suited for the management position while the lady in the management position would best be suited for a housekeeping position (i.e. cleaning bathrooms). It will be a long time before I do business at this location again. I am posting this complaint for my mother who does not have a Google account. To add, I also work in customer service (about 2 years now) and would not talk to my customers over a mic headset that way EVER. Even the managers at my restaurant have MUCH BETTER of an attitude towards a customer that's rude to them than this lady towards us asking very kindly a SIMPLE question! What's so hard about going ahead and charging us a 16 oz blizzard with plain ice cream in it since you can't kindly just tell us what the difference PRICE WISE the difference between a 16 oz blizzard and a 16 oz ice cream? We would've paid for a 16 oz blizzard at normal price with just ice cream in it if the customer service manager was much better. Y'all are going to lose business if this keeps up. Read moreI love DQ in all honesty. I love the food and desserts. I worked at this location as a teenager and I did enjoy it as a first time job. Gina kept the store very clean and organized and we worked well as a crew but the crew that works there now is not it. I continue to go to this location because it’s close by and I prefer to go to this location in general compared to the other DQ’s. I went last night and both of my salads were not made right and this isn’t the first time. It’s like every time I go there now they can never get it right, either I’m missing something or the food wasn’t made right. The cones are sloppy and do not have that “Q” at the top. I just personally feel like they don’t take pride in what they do and if they don’t then why work there? My best friend and I, that both worked here, talk about how the service and food/desserts just aren’t the same from when we worked there. My husband worked there as a teenager too and he agrees. Then I thought they'd (teenagers) would do something to my food! Rude at the speaker, rude at window! Ordered double meat cheeseburger, no cheese! My steak sandwich was sloppily put together & wrapped in paper! I undid the paper & the sandwich fell apart! Only thing good were the tater tots! I won't be back! Spencer location next to fire station! Received a reply from DQ "owner", using my 1st & last name! No apology, no reaction to my displeasure! Thought it was a standard form letter with my name inserted into a blank space! A response from A.I.? I think so! Owner wants me to visit again! Not gonna happen! I'm new to the area & have gotten food from her about 5 times, 1st time reviewing & 1st time using the drive thru! These kids don't know what organization & efficiently are!
