Went there for breakfast. They share a parking lot with a small grocery store and a place that sells chicken dinners so the parking was just ok. I would imagine during a rush it would be hard to get parking in the lot and street parking is not great. We were greeted by a very nice gentleman; I didn't catch his name, but I will when I go back to try the burgers. The place is small and has 4 tables with 4 chairs each, but it has a real cozy feeling and there is outdoor seating. I ordered the bacon and egg breakfast. The bacon was thick and crispy, over medium eggs were so fresh and delicious. Hash browns could have been cooked just a little longer, but they were seasoned well and not bad. But the highlight for me, besides the eggs, was the coffee. The coffee was brewed fresh and very very good. I'll definitely go back. Edit: I went back for the double cheeseburger. You figure burger is in the name so it should be delicious right? It was not. Unfortunately there was no salt on the overcooked patties. Super bland. There was a little cup of dipping sauce for the fries that was really tasty. I put some on the burger, but it didn't help. I ate half of the burger because the combo was $13 and I didn't want to waste money. The fries and coke were top tier though. I'm going back one more time to maybe try the tacos or burritos. This will be the determining meal...the...
Read moreExcellent, friendly customer service and fresh ingredients + homemade salsa. Breakfast or lunch, you can’t go wrong coming in to this restaurant or ordering for pick up. I’ve tried their breakfast burritos, breakfast plates, ceviche, and burgers. I love this place! Perfect spot in Altadena. Some of my favorite items I’ve ordered at least 2-3 times are: their Coffee (fresh and delicious Columbian roast), Sausage Breakfast Burrito with tater tots, Chorizo and Eggs plate, Shrimp Ceviche, Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Carne Asada Fries, and their Bacon Avocado Burger. They usually have homemade drinks to choose from as well, like Horchata or Lime and Cucumber water (Agua de Limón con Pepino), definitely refreshing and better than soda. Also they have different salsas/sauces to choose from (try their Sriracha Aioli or Salsa Verde). Note: They’re very busy on the weekends, make sure to order early or get there before the rush. I wish they were open later! They’re open 7 days a week from 7am - 4pm.
TLDR; Try this place out! Great coffee, great food, awesome service. They have dining inside and...
Read moreThis place is amazing with staff and atmosphere but one thing I've noticed is that their food has gone down hill. Specifically their breakfast burrito. I ordered a bacon burito . And a chorizo Burrito and I literally got a hasbrown burrito . So devastating because they used to make it good. It actually used to have like 4 or more slices of bacon. Their sauces have gotten smaller . Very unsatisfied. Also I tried to call and they don't answer they havwnt even set up their phone to take calls.. I hope they get their food and service in order but for now . I will look for a better location. It makes me sad because I trusted this location ....
