No one is disputing the quality of food. Aside from a sweet gentleman at the cash register, the female manager and a few other female staff members are arrogant, rude and fake. On our first visit ever, there were buckets of straws at the counter, we took a few straws and sat down to eat. Then an employee came out and said, “you need to pay for those straws, they are organic”. We were shocked because they were literally the only accessible straws on the counter for use! But she insisted and it was an embarrassing moment. Fast forward to today after being told they have the right to refuse service and asked me to never come back what led to that was: I had placed a to go order, many orders actually but one order I placed TWO oatcakes. When I picked them up and tried to eat one, it was hard as a rock so I tossed them in the trash. On my next to go order of 3 oat cakes, I mentioned to the on-site female manager, Stephanie that the order was stale and she offered to compensate one oat cake refund to my credit card of the current order I was picking up. That credit NEVER EVER happened. On my third visit of the week for a to go order, with the gentleman at the cash register, I asked to speak to the manager about the oat cake credit and told him that I had not been refunded and he said he would compensate one standing in front of him on the third order. I can’t believe I’m even having TK write this but the most pretentious, inappropriate, rude thing happened after that visit-Stephanie wrote me an email that she had in fact credited the food which was completely false! My chase account is online for all active charges and credits daily-it didn’t happen. But her multiple emails were so catty and unprofessional even having to argue this with a routine customer. When I had written a bad review previously about the front line staff rudeness, this same manager had approached me in front of many customers and said, “I want to clear things up with you so that we don’t have to discontinue serving you in the future” like a threat that my review was going to cost me being banned from this bakery. I took the review down despite how fake she was towards me I always appreciated the gentleman at the register who I tipped and thanked repeatedly for being always so kind. Customers may not always be right but for employees to come at customers with rudeness, arrogance, being completely fake makes any dining experience painful despite how amazing the food can be. I was told by so many people in the area that the employees are arrogant and rude but I tried to ignore it enjoying the food. It’s really too bad the owner doesn’t take the time to hear all sides but just from their employees because customers are the ones paying and keeping this...

It may have been one of the worst experiences I’ve had dining.
I give it a 4 star because overall I think most would like this place.
I was drawn in by the cute French tables in front. And because it’s one of the only places in this stretch of Colorado to eat. Walking in really makes you feel you’re someplace special. They’ve got the coolest items for sale from unique international food products, fun gifts and house made super cool seasonal candies. On all of that they’re 5 star. The staff is really busy but all were very nice and helpful - another 5 stars.
Really I had high hopes for the meal. Until it arrived. I ordered a veggie egg white scramble with salad and a slice of wheat toast. Sounds healthy right?
Oohhh so wrong. So so so wrong. Terribly wrong.
It was completely destroyed by the amount of oil used. If you’re worried about cholesterol or fat - STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE. I might as well have gone to Churches Fried Chicken and ordered Fried chicken, French fries and onion rings and I think I still would’ve had less oil than here.
My eggs came on a stark white plate in what looked like they took a quarter cup of oil and dumped it on the plate before carefully setting the eggs on top (with the hard grilled wheat “toast” slice of bread bathed in that oil loaded with butter and then tossed the salad in another half cup of oil and red wine vinegar. There was a pool of oil at the bottom of the salad bowl.
It was truly awful.
I couldn’t eat it. All you could see and taste was oil and red wine vinegar. The eggs had no flavor (but oil) and hard carrots? (Which I didn’t understand).
Plus there are so few seats cramped together (which is okay - French style) with a aluminum lidded trash can next to it the uncontrolled flies reminded me of eating in Mexico. They need to move the trash can away from the eating area or invest in pest control. To make your customers suffer with a swath of 30 flies is terrible.
$16 later I’m still hungry.
What I will give them is they have a variety of pastries and a nice menu (in theory). I can tell they’re trying. But that being said - having been open for as many years as they have they should’ve figured out the fly situation and care a bit more about health by not drowning literally everything in oil.
Oh and I forgot to mention - Handicapped people stay away! God forbid you need to use the restroom or wash your hands before eating. You would have to walk down a long hill and up a steep flight of stairs to get there.

Read moreMy visit to the little paradise that is Little Flower was such a wonderful experience ☀️ They are located in the middle of nowhere, but the moment you enter their little store ypu are met with the most amazing aroma of homemade sweets and baked goods. The store has the cutest little storefront and the aesthetics inside are even more adorable 🌸💞 The people working there are all incredibly sweet and so authentic to the theme of the shop and they sell everything from sweet cups, books and knickknacks to homemade cakes, chocolates and candies 🍰🍬🍫🍭
Speaking of the latter, then their homebaked goods were absolutely incredible. Had one of their cinnamon swirls with macadamian nuts and I was already too full to almost eat anything else. Also their chocolate-covered honeycomb is to die for, its incredible. The staff were also kind enough to give me some free goodies because I visited all the way from Denmark, so a big shout out to the very kind staff !! ☺️
Heard about the place on Conan O'brien Needs a Friend (CONAF) and I am so happy I took the journey to visit this little oasis on my holiday.
So to the staff of Little Flower - I wish you all thr best and I hope dearly that I can come back one day to try even more of your...
