Parking was easy at noon on a weekday. The hike itself is not great. Itās overgrown dusty was quite hot. The day we went and at times itās hard to see where trail goes. We didnāt make it to the top because we didnāt really bring water and weāre kind of tired, but honestly wouldnāt really recommend this hike. Most of the time the sounds of nature were drowned out by the road that was the north of us that had giant industrial trucks driving on it the entire time we were hiking. They are going to a landfill over the next hill. Also, you donāt actually really get a view of the eagle rock itself. Best viewed from the freeway honestly kind of interesting to hike around it, but the foliage was not what youād expect. After the hike, at home, DVD "Where Eagles Dare" and be proud you're one of the few who rode...

The trailhead starts about 10 feet on the right past the entrance and is easy to miss. If you end up on the street about 20 yards away from the entrance, you've gone too far. Trail is very narrow with a little overgrowth at some parts, but is a fairly easy hike. There are some steep parts, but didn't need any walking sticks It's about 10 minutes to the top. At the top, you get a nice view of downtown LA and all the...
