McDonald's — Restaurant in Pasadena

Never go to this McDonalds or the one on Lincoln Ave. or even the one on Foothill Ave all Pasadena area. Go to the one on Altadena Drive and Washington, the classy part of Pasadena. I hate saying this, being of Adrican American descent however, the truth is the truth. STAY OUT OF THE HOOD. I went to McDonalds on Lake and ordered $40.95 worth of food. IT WAS HORRIBLE by far and we asked (my daughter and I) for the food to be fresh. I ordered a 20 piece McNuggett which I could throw up against the wall and the pieces were so hard, they bounced back when I threw them against the wall. I also ordered two fish filets and they were atrocious hard to chew and tasted like twenty day old fish! I ordered 2 strawberry creme pies, and that wasn't fresh, horrible. The really bad part is almost the same thing happened on Lincoln Avenue and I had my entire meal replaced when I went back in and showed them their disgusting food. You should be ashamed because if I had a dog, he wouldn't have eaten it. And when I called (on 7/11/22) to let them know that I got the food Saturday 7/9/22 @11:30 am but couldn't bring it back because that day I had to take my mom's car to the shop so I couldn't get back, I was asked did I have my receipt? Man, I'm so pissed, I sware I'll tell everyone not to go there. THEY'VE NEVER BEEN ANYWAY! Del Taco on Union is way better. AND now they won't even take $100 bills. I'm going to end my patronage, period. I'll just let my long time residency of Pasadena and Altadena speak using my mouth! I'm done! Good is what it is. I came here at 11am and things were busy already. Tons of cars at drive through, parking lot almost full, and here I am trying to pick up food I ordered on app. I picked up food, and the employee was so chill. She had tons of requests, tons of ppl waiting for her, but she did excellent and had excellent attitude and was calm and polite.

I went back to the car only to realize that I needed another order. It was lunch menu already, and I knew I had to order chx nuggets. That orser took a while. Ok, there still were tons of cars in line, 2 lines, and tons of pullup and uber orders. The poor manager (yellow shirt, I assume), I feel for her, running around and handling all the guests that were there. She didnt yell at her employees to move faster. Her employees, especially that same lady who served me earlier in grey with glasses and her coworker (leader?) 8n black quickly tepped up bagging and gwtting all food ready for ppl. When friea were needed, the leader in black stepped up to afd more and cook more fries. The lady with glasses then bagged (took over station that manager was at). When drinks and frozen treats were needed, the manager stepped up and helped with that and drive through. Everything was cooked fresh, no station was lacking, and the poor manager did everything with a smile, even guests at the pick up area asking for condiments, napkins, other drinks, etc. it was awesome teamwork to watch while waiting for my order.
