Mr Goods Donuts — Restaurant in Pasadena

Came into Mr. Goods for a few donuts as I needed something to get my day going!!!!

What an amazing little shop it is.

Locally owned Fresh donuts made daily as well as coffee!

Today I ordered: 1 Cake Sugar Donut 1 Cinnamon Roll 1 Water

The cake donut was exceptional as the dough was not too dry it was perfect. The correct amount of sweetness to dough ratio!

The Cinnamon Roll was different as I have never had one made from donut dough!

It was a hit, not too sweet and super soft.

In total I spent no more than $5.00 for two donuts and a water.

The only thing I was not found of was I was the only person in the shop and after 15 minutes was kicked out.

Yes there are signs on the table I assumed that was if they were busy not me being the only person in the shop.

That was a bit off putting because I was trying to write my review while there and instead as soon as I finished the last bite of my Cinnamon Roll the male owner came out from the back and said its been 15 you have to leave. I can see this being beneficial if the place is packed and there is a line, however when only one customer is in the restaurant that just does not seem to be a reason to push someone out to make room for no-one.

My idol Tiffany Ter lives in this Donut Shop. She makes the best donuts and gives huge discounts if you give her a banana. Not even joking. Just walk inside the donut shop and you'll see a dozen bananas near the bottom of the container. She really loves her bananas. Not only that, she's a very kind person! I once offered to let her keep the change but she said "No it's okay!". Even though I asked her how the Donuts were, and she said "good.", I already knew that they were going to be delicious before asking. I would totally give Mr Goods Donut Shop a 100 star rating if I had the option to. You will NOT be...

If you live in this neighborhood, like I do, then you are extremely lucky to have this local donut shop on your block! This is the spot where I tried my first cronut (and cronut holes! Yup, I didn't even know this was a thing!). I have tried other cronuts before, but there's nothing like Mr Goods Donuts Shop! I discovered my favorite donut OF ALL TIME at this shop... the Nutella Walnut Donut. Even though they run out, they can make you one fresh.
