My colleagues and I genuinely enjoy the coffee at Fika Fika ā the taste is great, and Iāve been a regular customer for quite some time. I come to Pasadena weekly for physical therapy, and I always place an online order in advance for both myself and my colleagues, choosing a scheduled pick-up time so everything can go smoothly. However, despite ordering ahead and selecting a specific time, I always end up waiting 10ā15 minutes after arriving at the store. Iāve spoken with the staff before, and they told me they donāt start making the drinks until I physically arrive ā supposedly to "ensure freshness." But if thatās the case, whatās the point of scheduling a pick-up time or offering an "order ahead" option at all? Today, I even called the store right after placing my order online and asked politely if they could please prepare the drinks in advance so I could pick them up on time. The staff member on the phone assured me they had already started working on them. Yet when I arrived, they clearly hadnāt ā and I had to wait another 10ā15 minutes as usual. This constant delay causes me to be late for work every time, which defeats the entire purpose of ordering ahead. Iām really disappointed, and I hope the store can rethink how they handle scheduled...

I went to check and see why other numbers were called and not mineā¦was told they were working on it. After 40 minutes I asked where my coffee was and then I asked for a refund because they were clueless as to what happened to my order. They were shocked that they hadnāt given me my coffee. They looked and acted confused. They then offered to make it, I told them I no longer wanted it. I wanted a refund and was told āonly the manager can give the refundā. I asked to speak to the manager and was told no could not as they were not in. I was told the business did not have a phone for me to call the manager and one worker did not have the managers phone number. She took my info to tell the manager I wanted a refund. I insisted that someone had to have a way to reach the manager. I received an email. I will say thisā¦if you donāt care how long you have to wait for a coffee, go for it. I will NEVER recommend this place nor will I go back. I recently tried Fika Fika for the first time a couple weeks ago, and theyāve now become my go-to for whenever I need that extra pick-me-up on a tiring day. Iāve only ever tried the butterfly pea vanilla latte and itās absolutely perfect. I always get it iced with mellow wave espresso blend and 25% sweet. I definitely like flavor in my coffee, but not anything too sweet, and this is that perfect blend for me. Perfect amount of flavor and caffeine, and it always tastes exactly the same every time, so I really value the consistency here. Of course I intend to try some of the other stuff here, once Iām done obsessing over this perfect little vanilla treat. š©
The staff is super kind, very professional, and very quick. And they have a rewards points system as well. I didnāt get any pictures, but the environment inside is very cozy. Good lighting and good place to get work done or have a chat with your friends over delicious coffee. Plenty of free street parking as well.
