Tell me why a worker at Anderson's Bakery threatened to call the police on my mom. Truly don't know when it would ever be that serious but all she was trying to do was potentially exchange less than a dozen brownies that were unfortunately less than their usual best. (A late birthday treat to celebrate with me.) Idk tho i've worked at Ruth's Chris and received complaints on $70 steak without breaking a sweat becuase it's never that serious but also it comes with the territory of a customer facing job. Beyond that, my mom wasn't rude or loud or did anything to warrant immediate dismal to a more than reasonable request, yet alone contacting the AUTHORITIES, I have to laugh becuase what is wrong with you? Are you okay? Genuinely. Refusing to rectify a basic "conflict" if you could even call it that and escalating it to that point for absolutely no reason. My mom has every right as a paying customer to express dissatisfaction. Calling her confrontational for that is wild. Telling her she had to leave or you'll call the cops is even wilder. Katiee Smith (why are you so anxious?) I hope you resolve the personal issues that may have lead you to treat my mother this way in public and in front of your fellow employees. I would say in front of customers but my mom waited until there was little to no people in there in an attempt to not cause a scene or discourage business. Very weird behavior. I would say I'm praying for you but I am not. The treats are great! The rest of the workers always seem nice. I'm sure we all knew that but yeah just mildly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOh, Anderson Bakery, you sly little charmer. I sashay in, lured by the whisper of these so-called ārainbow cookies,ā expecting a vibrant explosion of color to match the fabulous aura Iām radiating. And what do I get? Cookies that taste like a gift from the pastry godsātruly, Iām floored by how divine they are, with crispy edges, chewy centers, and a flavor that makes me wonder why I ever bothered with anything lessābut rainbow? Sweetheart, no. Iāve crossed your threshold more times than Iāve checked my phone for a text thatās never coming, and these treats? Theyāre not a rainbowātheyāre a holiday special pretending to be bold. Red and green for Christmas, or green and white for St. Patrickās Day, but thatās not a rainbow, thatās a seasonal glow-up.
They plaster ārainbowā on the label like itās a full-spectrum fiesta, but the past times Iāve come these cookies are rocking holiday vibes harder than a mall Santa in December or a Leprechaun in March. The crew behind the counter has more dazzle than these treats have diversity, and they still canāt stretch beyond a festive tint or two? Iām underwhelmed, Iām obsessed, and Iām already daydreaming about my next haul. Five stars for the taste, a big goose egg for calling them ārainbowā when theyāre just playing dress-up for the holidays. Do better, Anderson. Iāll be backādonāt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI called three weeks in advance for an order of a dozen gingerbread cookies and was told they do not take orders for gingerbread cookies during the holidays. They did, however, reassure me they made plenty daily, and I would have zero problem getting a dozen the day I needed them. I have been going to this bakery for years because they make good products, and it is the closest bakery to me, even if the hours are weird. However, when I went in to get the dozen gingerbread cookies, they informed me they sold out. I told them I was assured I would not have a problem getting my order day of, but she told me they have been in high demand. I asked if they would be making any more during the day and she told me no. I am highly disappointed. She did not offer me anything to resolve this issue. I will not be returning and will no longer be suggesting them in the future. I now have to find a replacement for my Christmas party and have zero time to do so. Andersonās bakery is hands down the most unreliable establishment. They are very unprofessional and rude. Do not trust them to be there when...
