I was three months postpartum when I decided I needed to get back into working out. I was extremely nervous and very intimidated at the thought of CrossFit but I told myself I have to at least try it for three months and then I can decide to quit or continue. I have never experienced such a tight nit community of people who come together daily for the same purpose, to live a healthier life and get stronger. I initially lost 40 lbs doing CrossFit along with changing my diet. I have been pretty consistent with the workouts and have been apart of this gym for 4 years now and I donāt know what I would do without this gym or the wonderful people who workout there daily. That is not at all the case at CrossFit Royal. Workouts are scaled for you, and there is a huge emphasis on proper technique and pacing.
If you're hesitant to try this type of fitness out, I'd suggest trying at least one class to form your own opinion. However, if you rake a chance at Royal, you will find awesome community and welcoming people that don't judge and only encourage you on your fitness journey.
