We used to go here quite a bit, not anymore. They have the ability to be such a good dance club for LGBTQIA, but they keep doing the same thing, over and over again. REALLY slow service when they only have one bartender on nights they have events- which has been multiple times I’ve seen. The DJ plays the same music over and over, and does NOT take requests. Even though it’s not really “mixes”-it’s pushing play essentially because he often leaves the DJ booth. They are always running out of liquor, even at the beginning of the nights/events. The Drag performers are a redeeming quality, but not an overwhelming reason to go. My friends and I choose to go other places locally. It’s a shame because we’ve spent a lot of time and money at Out & About a few years ago, but we would rather go elsewhere nowadays. Their staff are exceptionally polite and welcoming, just not very fast and efficient when it comes to getting a second bartender...
Read moreDJ SUCKS (RUDE AF) My first and second times there were awesome i loved this place. I was looking foward for a 3rd one along with friends and siblings. Music got repetitive with hiphop and rap. It was gonna be over in half hr and didnt play reggeton. Only like three songs. The staff was really good. WHEN i asked the Dj he said he would play a song. He played another one with a similar name. I went to ask to play different music. I was asking nicely. All he did was yelled and went off on me. I almost felt threaten like if he wanted to beat me up. I think he was on something. But besides that i would not recomd this place. He is there to help people and play whatever people want. Because we pay to have a good time and he was extremely rude. For sure i would tell people about it. I wont go anymore. We drove 2hrs and had to go back cause honestly it was a horrobl4 experice. This kind of staff makes you never want...
Read moreMy favorite bar! I’ve been coming here for years, long before the remodel and reopening. The remodel looks amazing so far, and I can’t wait to see what’s to come! Through the transition to new ownership, while a lot has changed, it’s still kept the same spirit of safety and community. Something that particularly stands out to me, is that the new owners care a great deal about being present for their customers. Pedro and Fernando are warm and welcoming, supportive and uplifting to their staff, and eager to form relationships with their clientele. Everyone is treated like family here....
