Eatz Pizzeria — Restaurant in Pasco

I have eaten here a few times as I live nearby, but this is the first time under the new owners. I ordered pizzas last week. I spent around $60 and according to the website, they offer delivery, however, they do not inform you until after you place your order and pay that the delivery is from Door Dash. The delivery person began texting me in Spanish and while I know some words, I had no idea what longer messages this person was texting me. They delivered the pizza to the wrong address. Because I don't speak Spanish and couldn't get my message through that it was sent to the wrong address, I called the store. The employee who answered listened to the problem, then said hold on, let me talk to my boss. They put the phone down but not on hold so I could hear what was going on in the store. I waited about 3-4 minutes listening to the conversation the employee was having, which, unfortunately was not about my issue. The same employee then picked up the phone and said "Eatz how can I help you" and I reminded her my pizza got sent to the wrong address. She then informed me that there was nothing that could be done and I would have to contact Door Dash. I explained to her I don't use Door Dash and I don't understand why I needed to contact them. She said once the pizza leaves, they are no longer responsible for it and if I needed a number, I could "Look it up on the internet." I said, absolutely not and said I wanted my money back, which the employee said that wasn't possible. I then said I wanted to speak to her boss, and she said her boss wasn't there. That's when I said "You just told me you talked to your boss" to which she said "Oh I called her on the phone." I told the employee if I come down to the restaurant, I expect to be refunded to which she said Door Dash will have to issue my refund and they could do nothing. I told her I was coming down to get my 60 dollars back and she told me she would have to talk to her boss.

Don't advertise that you deliver and then wash your hands of it if there is a problem. Be up front with it that you are not responsible for the delivery so customers are aware of it. Also, the phrase "Let me talk to my boss" is not a catch all. Either the boss was in the room and didn't want to deal with it or the employee figured it would diffuse the situation. Either way, I was lied to. The employee never called her boss the first time and I was made to wait and listen to the actual conversation, then have the employee pick up the phone like they were talking to me for the first time. I placed an online order for a pick up time at 6pm. I received a call from someone at the restaurant saying my pizza had been ready for pickup. When I told the person I had set it for 6 he said ok and hung up. I arrived early to the restaurant @ 5:30. I sat in my car for a little bit finishing up my phone call and I see inside somebody vaping. My gut was telling me to go in and get a refund and not take the pizza since there is vaping inside happening. But I thought maybe it was a customer. Walk inside no customer it was empty just the employees. So I tell the lady up front that I had an order for 6 but I was early so if they wanted to start it I would wait outside for it. She didn’t seem friendly or even care that I was there. A guy comes out and says 6 min. I said I will be in my car waiting no rush. It literally took 6 minutes to Cook my pizzas? I have been to multiple pizza places and never has it taken 6 min if it was fresh. I get home and the crust one the outside was hard( like hard to even bite into). And the slices itself taste like it had just been reheated. So then I thought they really just reheated my pizza instead of making it fresh when I got there( not sure if that’s what happened just what I’m assuming). 8/22 Another update Today i bought spaghetti with meat sauce. If you like spaghetti the next day your going like this. So good very flavorful. I made my famous garlic bread for it. 7/21 Update today I ordered the spaghetti with meatballs and this might be a new favorite of . I ordered it with the Garlic Knot breadsticks which you know is dangerous because they are so good. Pizzeria & Deli 7/17 Update Today i ordered the Italian Sub and it was more then Icould expect. So good and worth it. Oh if you have never been here you missed out! Who loves bread sticks? These aren't any ordinary breadsticks they are so buttery garlic breadsticks you can eat them alone as a meal. He threw these in for free for the 4th. I chose to have a calzone made and I'm in love. This is a regular size one I can't imagine what something bigger is I had pepperoni sausage and mushrooms put in it so good so good. I then saw that they had a pan brownies and if you know me and my love for brownie I had to buy it. It's just like making them at home, maybe I can talk them into throwing walnuts in it for me next time.
