Taqueria Las Maria's — Restaurant in Pasco

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food good. But one this I dislike is the food portion they give. I feel disrespected and scammed for the portion they give. It’s also expensive the the little portion they give. My usual are their quesadillas combos. Comes with rice and bean and a soda. There are times they give me small quesadillas and more rice or more beans. There are times they give me a big size quesadilla and like a one or two spoon of rice and beans… I have always went here with my family as a teenager and the portions were always good and fair. Ever since Covid was over they lack on portion can’t even lower the price of the portion is not the same. Not only that the ladies in the kitchen don’t even wear hair nets! I had a crew of four men working at my location near this restaurant. I thought it would be nice to buy them tortas for lunch. A can of Coke costs $2 dollars each. The tortas were the worst I've ever seen. My pork torta had the smallest amount of pork. Maybe just a little bigger than a silver dollar of pork. If I had seen how much she put on, I would have demanded my money ($60+) back and I was very hungry. My crew of men said the same thing about their beef tortas. It's too bad because this was my neighbor restaurant. I told the very nice girl I like avocados on my tortas, so they put on just one sliver of avocado. Driving through Pasco on our way back to PDX, my partner found this place. With so many options for authentic Mexican food in the Tri Cities we had no idea which spot to choose. The service, friendliness and food were all stunner. I had a chicken quesadilla as big as my head on a homemade corn tortilla (!) and my sweetie got a carne asada burrito, also giant and delicious. We then proceeded to buy a dozen corn tortillas to bring home with us all the way back to PDX and still enjoying them this week....
