Helados La Michoacana — Restaurant in Pasco

This place is great. They have an amazing selection of ice cream, all of them delicious.

Today was my 2nd visit to Helados and I took a chance that I stopped taking with many taco places and it turned out to be a good choice. I have unfortunately developed a bit of disappointment over the past in ordering pork carnitas. The reason being that many places have a nasty habit of serving large pieces of pork fat which should have been separated from the meat before serving. It is beyond gross biting into chunks of fat. That being said, the carnitas I had today were beautifully golden brown on the edges and it was evident that care was take to keep unnecessary fat...

Hope I don’t sound like a Karen or anything but ever since I first came to this place as a kid, I’ve always had issues with the service. Today, I was waiting for my vanilla ice cream, and it took almost 30 minutes. They even skipped our number, and when my dad went to ask about our order, most of the workers who walked by ignored him.

One worker, in particular, she was there by herself, and when my dad tried to get her attention, she completely ignored him, not to mention STARED at him. even though she knew he was calling her. That really pissed me off. I don’t know who’s hiring these people but they need...

I am not too sure what this young man’s name is, but this has been the worst customer service of my life. Not only did he give attitude when I was first ordering he was also complaining about my 15 second decision of what ice cream I wanted on my waffle. I had also ordered a small tostilocos with no cuerito because I’m allergic to pork,I went to ask him if it was possible to switch for a new one because their was pork in it when I had asked for none, he did not say a word and snatched the tray from my hands.
