I was excited to finally come to Helados Bone. Unfortunately, the older lady that greeted me had a very bad attitude. I felt like she got upset because I ordered a sandwich around 8:20pm. ( maybe the equipment was cleaned and she was ready to go home because according to her they only had slice bread and the cold cuts I wanted were sold out for the day)... This place was amazing, the lovely lady behind the counter assited the 6 impatient kiddos and the 4 adults with patience and answered all questions. She suggested tasting a few before committing to a flavor for the undecisive adults. We asked her for a venue to eat good spanish food and her hospitality went above and beyond to the corner. Here was a lovely place with something for everyone. We left with our bellys full, happy, and satisfied (with to go plates as well). While it’s not the original Bon, I was impressed and would cross the GW again for it. They had sooo many flavors to choose from. I had guayaba and dragonfruit mango on a strawberry cone, drizzled in a coconut caramel syrup, garnished with a cherry and strawberry wafer. They also serve sandwiches. My son doesn’t like sandwiches and they were accommodating and offered French fries and chicken nuggets (which were not posted on the menu).
