Fancy Bagels — Restaurant in Patterson

I’m not usually one to leave reviews but I went in today. Bagel was good. However, the lady didn’t have the best customer service skills. When I worked customer service, I’d always smile & be polite even on my bad days. Lady asked if we wanted veggies for the bagels. We asked to get fruit on the side (I was going to pay for it & had my baby with me, so planned to feed her that). Lady said they toasted the veggies so they couldn’t. We just said okay that’s fine. After dining in, we had almost 1 whole bagel so the person I was with asked for a box to which the lady said she didn’t have any. I had gone to the bathroom & seen the box on my way back, so I politely asked, “can I please have that box?” That’s when she said yes, but you could tell she was visibly bothered by the request. I’m not sure why she felt the need to lie when the boxes are visible. We paid $23 something for 2 bagels… a box shouldn’t be that big of an issue for the owner or employee. It’s also somewhat common sense that a bagel with cream cheese, egg, ham, etc. would go in a box, right? Service is one thing that can solely turn people away…. I was picking up my egg and cheese bagel and literally as I’m grabbing it it burned the crap out of my hands, I waited 12 minutes to let it cool down and still this is what I was served. It was so hot I dropped the bagel couldn’t even pick it up because it was still scolding hot. I asked for another after not even trying to say anything ( apart from this the order took nearly 20 minutes before the 12 minute cool down because there was only one inexperienced new hire and no one else ) . It burned my hands so badly I literally showed it to him, nope ma’am you have to pay full price for another one. I paid and received my bagel again which I STILL couldn’t eat because it was so unbearably hot I couldn’t even touch it. After almost 45 MIN I received my coffee….yes after both fuming bagels I received a freezing cold “hot coffeee” the creamer and sugar wouldn’t dissolve and just ended up in my coffee in nasty giant clumps that weren’t drinkable. DO NOT GET ANYTHING FROM HERE. They are super lazy with their work. They care about making food quick than doing stuff with quality.
