Went to this wendys drive thru tonight ( sat august 3 around 9pm and ordered #6 meal with bacon and a daves triple meal , i specifically asked for no sauces and no tomatoes due to food allergy and the woman who took order repeated that to me and i repeated to her that i had allergy to tomato. She said she got it, mind you there was no busy line in the drive thru at all and as i finished making my order just one other vehicle pulled up) we also asked for bacon on the #6 sandwich. Pulled up and paid ( never mind the rude employee who barely acknowledged me when she took my 22.00 cash, no smile at all or anything friendly) anyway, i received my change and got my order and drove off. Drove 10 miles to get home to eat. When we opened the bags i was dismayed that even tho the receipt said no mayo, no ketchup, no mustard no tomato, all of these ingredients were on my burger, the mayonnaise was so thickly slathered on it that i used about 4 napkins to wipe it off and try to remove any tomato remains, i was just very hungry and was willing to wipe it off and try to eat, but thats when i discovered a bug on my burger top bun, i have pictures of it and contact me if you want to see. I also noticed the burger meat was all dried out as if sitting out for a while then reheated. Both of our large fries were also half full with greasy limp fries, probably fried in old fry oil, they didnt taste like wendys fries at all. The chicken in the #6 was old too and dark color from old fry oil and they forgot to even put bacon on it but they didn't charge so that was not an issue. I immediately called them and they said they would remake it for another day and asked for my name. I told the woman on the phone( the attending manager) that was unacceptable due to their negligence about the bug and tomato and i was also not happy about driving 10 miles back to get a full refund. I returned to the restaurant and asked for management, the woman who.talked with me ( attending manager i assume) showed absolutely no concern for my allergy to tomato and seemed completely unfazed that i had to drive another 20 miles( 10 ea way) to get a refund, or did she seem concerned when i presented the daves tripple witha bug on it or the dried out old meat, no apologies at all just a refund and an offer to remake my order, which i refused. Also the two male cooks in the kitchen area were laughing, and making fun at me as i was waiting for refund from the drivethru register ( i was inside this time ) This is the service and products Wendys charges 21.and change for??? Wendys is on the more expensive scale of fast food and they tout fresh hamburger on their commercials, we recieved anything but... wendys used to be one of my favorite burger spots from my youth, im disappointed to say that wendys has gone downhill and you lost two customers tonight. We decided to take our business to burger king and made sure to tell them about the experience we received at wendy's. We received two completely full large fries with crisp texture and clean oil taste with our order which was similar with two sandwiches and guess what? Read moreI don’t think I’ve ever had a Wendy’s experience this bad in my entire life. Tried ordering in the drive through speaking to Kimberly, every single time we started talking she would tell us to wait a minute and then ask us to repeat what we said, only to tell us again to wait or interrupt us mid sentence. We asked repeatedly if we could order at the window but we were told no. Eventually a male employee started talking to us and said we could pull up to the window, after 10 more minutes of struggling we’re finally able to place our order. We get our food and they completely left our two meals on our order. They made us pull around and wait another ten minutes for them to bring out the rest of our food. The employees were laughing and messing around the entire time and the employee who brought our food out to us was rude and dismissive, and suggested we come into the store with my three year old in tow to order our six meals and six drinks even though that is the exact reason a drive through is available. We had a very long day and this experience was frankly awful. They tried to claim there was a wind issue when there was absolutely no wind outside, and we could literally see the employees including the manager on staff laughing at us through the windows as we were waiting. Read moreAlthough i must say i was never asked if i wanted ketchup for my fries and she intentionally pronounced my name incorrectly after i complained about an incident i witnessed while waiting to place my order, the reason I'm writting this review is because i saw an employee being treated unfair, pregidious and rude. I saw how the manager of this location mistreated an older employee not once but three times i heard how she (the manager) in a very rude, dominant and belittling this older lady talked to her ordering her to go do other things while the lady was taking a client's food order and when the lady try to take my order since no one else was paying attention, the manager again ordered her to go do something else. As a client seeing and hearing this made me feel completely uncomfortable and i just thought i should say something to the manager....which i did. Her poor response was "no i wasn't" "she gets mad easily" wow i thought so managers have the right to use their power and belittle their employees only because she gets mad easily??
