DG Cafe — Restaurant in Pawtucket

Incredibly well made empanadas..

This place is FAR FAR superior to other bakeries around Pawtucket/Cumberland/central falls selling savory Latino food at a reasonable price. The empanada bread casing tastes great and can't be compared to other panaderías. It's Subway sandwich vs the local Italian deli in the quality difference between them and others. I've tried 5/6. Cafe Colombia is the best of the others and open wicked early.

The shrimp empanada was the highlight, in my opinion Everything else save the beef empanada (the filling itself was bland and needed more something) was excellent! Definitely try this place! . I was given a drinkable mild green sauce filled with flavor (but little spice) that accompanied the food. I basically did a shot of one of the sides of sauce it...

Little spot on the right side of the smoke shop they have really good empanadas and they also have a pretty good Cuban sandwich 6 outta 10- could be more flavorful) lunch combo that comes with a fruit drink and a bag of chips that's pretty good that pastries are straight and they have a lot of different flavors of empanadas only thing is no one there speaks English so get ready to have a translator or play some charades they also have the really good Spanish sodas... try it out... ohh the...

This cafe is exceptional!! I'm a huge fan of diners and local cafes because of their uniqueness and great spins to familiar quick bites. DG cafe offers that and more so this is definitely added to my short list faves in RI. The pastries and drinks are so fresh and rich, top that off with great customer service, making this cafe memorable. Literally working my way down the entire menu, no disappointments thus far, they introduced me to avena which is beyond great. Worth the drive for...
