On Motherâs Day we had a reservation for 7 people at 3pm. When we arrived the waitress told us that the table we were supposed to be seated at just ordered dessert so we had to wait outside. 45 mins later after multiple large parties went inside before us, I went into ask about our table and was told that they had paid already but still hadnât left. Finally, we were called in at 4pm⊠no bread or drinks until 4:25⊠food was brought out around 4:50. We asked for straws and the server brought out a handful of unwrapped straws in his bare hand ⊠and we were not given menus right away because âanother table still had themâ. Mind you they were printed on bright green paper and they hadnât printed enough. Very unprofessional and unprepared. In my opinion the manager or owner should have come to us to apologize personally and offer the mothers in our group a free drink or dessert. The menu prices were jacked up for the holiday and the bar mixes for drinks had Marshalls price tags on them still .. looked awful.    Read moreWe were a party of five. We waited 1 hour 50 minutes for our food to arrive. When the food did arrive. Three of the dishes were ice cold and the two other dishes were uncooked. When we brought it to the attention of the waitress. She did offer to remake the dishes or we could order something else but we could not wait another 2 hours. I asked if they could take three cold meals off the bill, the manager refused. She only took two off. She stated " My wife only told her two were cold when she came to the table". She took my plate, threw it away and still charged me for the meal in the trash. She told us that sometimes due to the exhaust fan issues they need to open the back door that was near where they put the food that was cooked so the food gets cold. It was 17° at night. The waitress mention it had been happening all day. It is not unreasonable to expect a hot meal from a restaurant. Of course, COVID has them short staffed. There were six employees for 15 customers.    Read moreI had a nice time here. They give you free bread when you sit which is nice and warm and fluffy. We got the Sopa a Portuguesa which was good. The Galito Trio appetizer which was just okay; 3 of everything, 3 wings, 3 pasteis de bacalhau and 3 pieces of fried chouriço. The Bifana Sandwich which was nice. Plain but still good. Fries were really good. I asked for sauce on the side which they gave me a ton of and it was excellent. Alcatra was great. Very fun. It comes in like the handmade clay pot. He joked it looks like what a medieval man would eat. Lol. It was really good, maybe a tiny bit too salty but great when mixed with the plain potatoes and rice on the side. They still have the cafe open at night and itâs so reasonably priced. Cheapest espresso in the state. Lol. We shared a GalĂŁo (lattĂ©) for dessert. Service was a little slow and I would probably get something else the next time I come but it was still all good. The highlight being the molho and the Sumol in the glass container.
