I would give a million stars if I could! I’m so grateful to have found “Our Spot” which has now become “my spot”! I usually don’t write reviews very often unless my experience was either extremely awful or completely epic! And now that this safe space has become my new home! It’s not just a dive bar or your regular small-town-neighborhood sink hole…. Coming to Our Spot is an experience! Walking in the door, immediately you’re greeted with a friendly smile and welcoming hello from the uniquely boisterous owner Nikki or the vangaurd pillar host, Lynelle! Right away you feel at home and like you’ve been friends for years! The drinks are so delicious! There really isn’t anything Nikki can’t make! As my first time coming in, I asked for a drink I recently had in Portugal, that no one in Rhode Island can make. But Nikki had it covered! She knew how to make it and had all the ingredients! The food is fresh and better than any restaurant I’ve been to out here since moving back to Pawtucket! I haven’t made my way through the menu yet, but the tater-keggs and mac&cheese with grilled chicken, is my fave so far!! I can’t wait to try the steak! Johnny, the head chef, gives you flavors of ingredients that are beyond tasty! But the exciting part is when you realized the experience started! When you relax and start to notice your surroundings. The regulars, the 80s flyer painted walls, the spiral staircase of color, all the way up to the balcony that feels like a private oasis… I’ve never left here without making a new friend or with a bad taste of experience in my mouth! Along this journey of realizing you’ve “made your way home,” there are so many one-of-a-kind moments that are filled with laughter and indescribable happiness! And when you pay the tag, you feel like you need to tip more than 20% because of the friendly service and the amazing experience you’ve had! And you leave here with the feeling that you cannot wait to come back!!! Coming from somebody who lives all over the country, there really is no place comparable to “Our Spot”!!! The unforgettable-above and beyond service, the laughs and friendships, and the incredible energy, truly makes this place Rhode Island’s #1 restaurant! I can’t wait to see Nikki’s journey of success, as I know she will become a stable that people will travel to see! What really makes this place stand above the rest, is the mentality of bringing a community together under one roof with events and fundraisers! I really wanted to love Our Spot Bar & Restaurant because the food started out great and they offer sweet potato fries, which my husband and I both enjoy. Unfortunately, after several visits and orders, the experience has consistently gone downhill. • First order: Everything was fresh, tasty, and exactly what we expected. This is what made us want to become regulars. • Second order (dine-in): We mentioned how much we liked the sweet potato fries, yet when they brought our order, it was the wrong fries. • Third order (DoorDash): We ordered a steak & cheese and another burger. Instead of notifying us they were out of the steak & cheese, the restaurant canceled it without calling. We ended up driving there ourselves to get a replacement, only to find out the fries were wrong again when we got home. • Fourth order: Once again, the wrong fries. When we called to explain, we were placed on hold, then asked the same question we had already answered. The staff member became defensive, accused us of giving her attitude, and when we expressed our frustration, she hung up on us. We went in person to resolve it, but the owner took no accountability, refused to let us explain, and told us to leave or she would call the police.

Ordered here twice wanting to try the food through doordash.. the first time they cancelled my order.. w.e no biggy i just ended up ordering from somewhere else . The 2nd time i ordered the exact same thing and the price difference was about 10$ more than when i first tried to order from them . Weird but w.e again no biggy. We got a bunch of stuff to try a lil bit of everything . Everything was cooked perfectly but everything was just so BLAND and flavorless. short rib pasta & burger cooked perfectly but no flavor what so ever, empanadas that they said was spicy but had no spice at all and the chicken on the nachos were bland and dry. It was disappointing to say the least, because the menu is great had they executed it properly this would be a new go to place for me . But sadly that wasnt all ... i ate this around 9pm, went to bed at 11ish and woke up at 4am violently vomiting with diarrhea and althought the food was flavorless it tasted absolutely rancid coming back up 🤢 i had to throw out the leftovers with concerns of it being responsible for me getting sick. (My boyfriend had diarrhea after too but wasnt throwing up) .
