I brought a new, took it out the plastic myself G-shock XL watch for $250 from Macy’s 4 years ago. After a year it needed a battery, Ricard’s is a business I delivered to numerous times as a Letter Carrier , so I asked if they could replace the battery. They did, took about 10-20 mins total & cost me between $7-15.00. Year 3, needs another battery, went back to Ricard’s. Year 4, I no longer work in that area for USPS & decided to go to a watch repair shop on Mineral Spring ave in North Providence. The owner told me replacing the battery was labor intensive & would cost $75.00. I said to myself that can’t be, Ricard’s charged me between $7-15.00 bucks. I decided not to pay that amount, took the watch home & it sat for 2 weeks. One day I decided to change the battery myself, I had the tools & know how. I start to remove the wrist straps & find out I have only 3 pins out 4 & they’re all bent. I get to the back cover of the watch & I have only 3 screws out of 4 holding it down. I remove the back cover & there’re signs of water damage, rusting by the screw holes. It took me 20 minutes to take it apart & remember where the pieces ago. So the watch repair shop was right! It takes (2) batteries cost me $16.00 at Walgreens. When putting it back together, I tired take one of the 3 screws & put it in the hole of the missing screw. It won’t screw down, the threads inside are stripped. They damaged my watch, put it back together, charged me a fee & gave it back me. Hope this review...

Love shopping there they have layaways if u don't have the money right away .they fixed my cross right away when I broke it at work I was upset about that .they size rings for u if needed .my rings got loose fixed right away with ring guards .there all pleasant people friendly.. I shop there when I can .have for years and I tell my friends u can order out of books if u want something special. Like I did for my cross .and other items I recommend them .go...
