Jacob's Well — Restaurant in Payette

Nice bar and love that it is NO SMOKING. I have been going to this place since I moved to this area about 3 years ago. I had my bachelorette party here last August and celebrated my birthday a couple weeks ago here as well. My friends and I enjoy going on the weekends for Karaoke. The hosts are always so nice and fun. The only complaint I have is about the older bartender Deb. She's always rude and it clearly shows she dislikes serving. She'll purposely walk past you or look the other way when you are trying to get her attention. Last night was the worst. Two friends and I were ready to sing and spend money as always. I wanted to order us all another drink. Tried to get her attention and she stops in front of us waves her arms in a safe motion like in baseball and says I'm going on break. She still got us all our seltzers but, after she rolled her eyes and threw her head sideways like a teenager throwing a tantrum. We cut our visit short. We decided to go...

My wife wanted a Heineken beer, pretty common I thought, but the server looked at her like "what's that" so just ordered a Coors light draft. No big deal. I ordered a bourbon and seven and also got an odd look and had to repeat it. So she made a drink with their well whisky. Funny, they have Jim Beam on the back bar. I took one sip. I asked her what was that? I can't remember the name, her reply "it's our well" . I've heard of it, can't recall the name but that crap would gag a maggot off of a gut wagon. I have drank many types of whiskey or bourbon for 50 yrs, but that was God awful. To the owners, may I suggest Seagrams 7 or Early Times as a well whisky.
