The worst customer service!!! It’s disgusting and they do not care about customer service!!!! I would not ever order takeout, especially online because news to us! Their online service is down!! so after about 15 minutes dealing with that going back-and-forth I called them about that and they started yelling at me and told me I should Uber eats or GrubHub for takeout! I explained I was picking it up and he started yelling at me. John the manager telling me it’s not their fault that the service was down for online ordering and I should have called! That is unacceptable. You should not have a business with an online service that you’re only expected you to take phone orders when you’re trying to do online, he was ignorant and rude and was yelling at me. I could not get a word in!!! I would never suggest this restaurant at all. Their food was good lay time(3mths ago)but the customer service is absolutely frigging disgusting. for him to yell at me as well as the female bartender like I should know that the online service is not available and I should just order on the phone after they have an online service it’s disgusting and ridiculous. He actually hung up on me, because I was trying to tell him that it was not working and he was yelling at me that I should have called instead of doing online ordering what type of business does that? What type of management does this place have??! Even last time I went in, and I was ignored for almost 10 minutes. I still was going to try again until this happened. The bartenders ignored me. The weight staff walked right by me. This restaurant is disgusting for customer service. I do not recommend anyone going there you will get ignored for almost 10 minutes while standing at...

Not being a place I would normally patron as it appears dated and has a crowd of locals, it was for a recption after a solemn event.

It was a little disorganized as the wait staff weren't aware then said that the reservation was not confirmed. Fortunately the kitchen staff were aware (as the reception was confirmed), and were prepared for a group of approximately 25. Which was fortunate. The wait staff just had to organize itself which took a few minutes.

The staff were otherwise polite, pleasant, and expedient. Plenty of space in the dining area for our group, except we had to move our table so to make space for the servers to get by.

For lunch I opted for the steak tips, medium rare. Meal included mashed potatoes and carrots. The rolls were warm and fresh. The steak tips had a delightful brown sauce that complimented well, with the steak being tender and well seasoned. The mashed potatoes were a little thin but otherwise had good buttery flavor to them. Carrots were what I would expect prepared at home as far as cut. They were mildly sweet but otherwise bland, a little salt or herb coukd have gone a long way.

Ultimately this is a breed of restaurant that is dated in decor but serves great food. It isn't posh or frequented by hipsters, and to be honest I prefer it that way. With their menu options I think I would be able to drag...

Ok Wardhurst, I took my family here on Labor day because I saw your specials on FB. We arrived and it was busy and put our name on the list for five people. We waited about 20 minutes and were seated at a high top table. It took about ten minutes for our waitress to come over and she was less than polite. Her name was Layla and I had asked if the regular menu was available and she stated "Don't even ask me about that" so we came here because we have been here several time and it was outstanding but not tonight. They advertised their specials on FB but nowhere did it state that they had a limited menu. We were disappointed to say the least. Our waitress disappeared for long periods of time and wouldn't even say excuse me when putting things on the table. I had asked for a beer ( second one) and she forgot and then brought it to me as she served us the chocolate cake we ordered ( which was very dry). Yummy beer and chocolate cake. She then disappeared again and just walked by to drop of the check and didn't say a word. It is not our fault that they might have been understaffed but at least give us a warning about the limited menu and watch your staff. We love the Wardhurst and have been there on several occasions but now this has made us look for...

I went here based on the great reviews I have seen online and from friends. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. No issues there. There were 3 of us. We ordered a sampler as an appetizer - the cheese sticks were wonderful; crunchy outside, gooey inside. The steak and cheese rolls were kind of bland but the steak was nice and tender.I did not like the potato skins at all - they were dry and somewhat flavorless. The chicken wings ,I was told were a bit spicy(barbeque flavor) but okay. The bread rolls were very tasty and fresh and one person in our party needed a 2nd bowl of seasoned oil for dipping - she loved it so much. The fish and chips were very fresh and the onion rings tasty and not greasy at all.I had spinach pie that I thought was wonderful and butternut squash which was delicious. The cheeseburger was cooked as asked- medium well and juicy. Overall, the portions were large and we had 3 boxes of leftovers for loved ones at home.

Really friendly staff, sat at the bar on Saturday afternoon/evening. Very clean bar area. Ordered a fried chicken sandwich that was really good. Ordered chicken parm sandwich that needed more sauce, but tasted great. French fries were a little well done for me. Portions are good. Drinks were good too, beer is a lil pricy. Bar area was very warm at times. Only disappointing observation was the ceiling vents look really dirty.

Disappointed. We came by on a Tuesday night at 5:05 but found out that the fried chicken had already been sold out for the evening. After hearing so much about the fried chicken online and from every single old person on the north shore, I had to try it. I settled for the prime rib, which was perfect and delicious. Helpful wait staff and pleasant atmosphere, ample parking and a nice time was had by all .
