Casa Vieja — Restaurant in Peachtree City

We have to be the victim of just a bad day for the restaurant. We have heard from a bunch of folks, whom we trust, that this place was great. In quality and service. Unfortunately we did not have the same experience. One entre was complete forgotten and our 4th person came and sat down a few minutes late and mattress never acknowledged him nor asked if he wanted a drink or meal! It had to be an off day for the staff.

The main entrees were totally average at best. The chips and cheese dip were AMAZING. And the drink prices and quality were great (frozen and on the rocks were great). No complaints with the prices at all - very reasonable.

Another secret gem in Peachtree City that I must talk about. We arrived around 5:30 PM to eat and although there was a short wait we were at our table in no time at all. This place has quite a bit of seating in such a small space. I didn’t feel cramped in at all. The server was quick to take our drinks and shortly thereafter our order. We received complimentary chips and salsa which came out fresh tasting and the salsa was not spicy. I order the Tacos Al Pastor (I order this every-time we go to a new restaurant) & the chicken fajitas. Our food arrived quickly, hot and great sized portions. Our waitress was phenomenal. She was very friendly and extremely attentive. She always made sure we had everything we needed, she removed plates as we finished them so that there were no empty plates cluttering up our area, and she kept our glasses filled. The food was decent. I got the nachos with shredded chicken, and the chicken was a little tough to chew. The man standing at the front register was unable to check us, or anyone else, out and he also didn’t seat any customers, so I was a little confused on what his purpose for standing in that area was.
