This was my first time at this location. It will definitely be my last!!!! Although the food came out fresh, my concern is the service I received. I came with my niece, it was 8 of us. We arrived at 8:15. We were told that because they closed at 9pm, our food would automatically be placed in to-go containers. My family and I did not have a problem with thatâŚUNTILâŚâŚ a family came in after us, ordered their food and were served with dishes. The same dishes we were told were not going to be used because they were preparing to close!!!!! How crazy is that???? If it is the policy, it should be that way for everyone. Racist perhaps!! Definitely not a misunderstanding!!! Iâm so disappointed!!! The only difference between me and the family that ordered after me is the color of my skin!!!!! My niece loves Panera so much that she chose to come here for her birthday with the family, all 8 of us!! To witness, injustice and unfairness on her birthday is hurtful. I will not be back!!! Make sure you think twice toooo!!!! We spent nearly $100 here! What a terrible experience! Do better management!!!
Update: while typing this post the manager came and apologized stating she will speak to her staff. The manager said that was unacceptable and we shouldnât have been told that. I told her thank you for apologizing. HOWEVER, it was the staff that stated they were instructed by management to tell us we would have to use/eat from to-go containers! She offered to give us some free pastries. We declined and politely left. There is a lack of accountability somewhere. Nevertheless, i can find other establishments that will accept my money...
   Read moreI wish I had a picture but I sent the food back and got a refund. I went to 3 different Panera bread restaurants because I was craving a bread bowl. That shows how much I was determined. The first one allowed me to order online knowing that certain food items werenât there anymore, so when I got there I cancelled my order the minute I realized that there were no more bread bowls. The second store was closed for some reason. I then called this store and told the manager âMannyâ that Iâve been to three stores looking for bread bowls and how my experience had been. At this point I had been driving for over 40 min. She responded and said âYes we have bread bowlsâ. Iâm excited, driving another 15 min only to get there and find out that there are no more bread bowls. I was so hungry that I still bought the food but I demanded to speak to the manager. When the manager first approached me, she looked as if she had an attitude and as I expressed to her that it wouldâve been courteous to tell me that the store only had a few bread bowls left considering everything I told her that I went through looking for them, She then starts to stretch her arms and say âyea well at the time we did have themâ. I then restated my comment and she just stared at me. I just walked away because she didnât care. I went to my car and it looked like somebody ripped off my side of bread with their fingers instead of precisely cutting it nor was my soup was filled all the way up to the top of the cup so I returned the food.    Read moreI'm a Panera fan. This restaurant appeared to be clean, busy, and we'll run. After placing my order on the kiosk, I sat and waited at the take away counter for my order. The digital display clearly showed my order was being worked on, and rapidly moving up the order toward complete. At 12:03 received a text telling me my order was ready - as did the display board... and my order wasn't on the counter. While waiting and intervening with the counter team about my orders status, I was told they were working on it. Meanwhile dozens of other people's orders came and went. I was getting stares as if I were a "lurker". At 12:23, I walked to the order counter and shared that the system indicated my order was ready 20 minutes ago - can you help. 5 minutes later, she returned with my order. A dozen bagel pack with 2 cream cheeses. Which I was bringing to a team working on a Saturday! Again, they were very busy and appeared to be handling all of the other orders well. Just a very disappointing experience being told your food is ready and having to wait 25 more minutes, while others who ordered after me were being served. 12 bagels, 2 cream cheeses, utensils, bag - I think I could have filled that order in 4 minutes not knowing where anything was.
