Under a new name now I guess? Placed an order online it was their old menu, but they still made the food. Online it was listed as 10 dumplings for the cost I paid, sure fine cool with that. Get there, and I'm told it's 5 dumplings. They tell me they don't use that app anymore. But some how they got my order and money still. I ask for a refund cause I didn't want to pay $7 for 5 small dumplings. They told me I had to go through the app to get a refund, so I ask them to help me cause all I could find on the app when I logged into the account I made to order was My email and other person info. No way to request anything from the company. I was finally refunded in cash the difference from what they charge now for 5 dumplings now costs and what I paid.
The owner kept telling me they just got the email for the company and make it, then why not change what is listed in that app? Why not close your membership with that app.
I use to love the food here but the Korean chicken is now tiny pieces and they use to be a good size and worth the price. Same with the Dumplings.
If the owner is reading this, you should contact the company Simplymenu (cause that's who I ordered through not what ever it was that you were telling me) and either Close your account with them or update your menu with to reflect the changes you have made...
Read moreStrange atmosphere. Korean restauraunt that was playing K-pop videos substituted by the sound of jazz that totally didn't match the feel of everything else in the restaurant. Service was great, but people usually go to eat for the food. I had a bulgogi bowl and was pretty well let down by somewhat dry, cool temp. rice, bulgogi sauce that was a bit watery and meat that was, often about 20% cartilage.
There are many variances of traditional Korean dishes which is a testament to the restaurant's creativity, but with the inability to produce a good original version of the dishes, I have little faith the adaptations will be worth sampling.
The only thing that made my food itself worth the money spent was the portion, which was heavily rice.
No one in the restaurant seemed to be enjoying their food and the one who seemed to be enjoying himself the most looked to be a perverted old man staring at the scantily clad female idols on the screen in front of him.
I would recommend paying about 30% more for a good version of this food at a more traditional restaurant that tastes 70% better. Bull Gogi may be...
Read moreBest chicken fried rice i've ever had! Can't get enough of it. Have had several dishes and everything I've had has been delicous. My go to is the kfc with spicy korean sauce. The philly I've had both ways with bulgogi or spicy korean sauce(great either way!) and the "B" sandwich I had a couple days ago was awesome too. A completely different experience than the Philly in a great way. I keep eyeing the noodle dishes which look outstanding, but just can't eat there without getting the fried rice so have yet to order. My wife orders the bowls and she really enjoys them as well.
Unsure what the peeps were eating that rated this place a 1. Definitely not my experience and I dine there almost weekly and have done so for the past 9-12 months. Have yet to have a poor or even mediocre experience.
Great place if you like Asian...
