Every time I come here, not a single employee can tell me what has sesame and what doesn’t. For reference, I’m highly allergic to sesame and have suffered an anaphylactic reaction from it before. No one at this location knows the ingredients of anything. Sometimes they tell me the rice has sesame seeds, and sometimes they tell me it doesn’t have sesame seeds. One time I went, and the guy behind the counter didn’t even know what sesame seeds were. How are you gonna work in a restaurant that serves some food items with sesame (or any restaurant for that matter) and not know what a sesame seed is? Am I tripping or is this not basic common knowledge? They have a sign up that says to let the person who’s making your order know if you have any allergies. What’s the use of the sign if no one knows the ingredients of anything? They don’t even know the ingredients of their sauces. Last time I went, the dude straight up handed me a packet of one of the sauces and told me to read the ingredients. Like, am I meant to do your job for you? The food is great and they give you a lot of good food for the value, but come on. The owner(s) need train their employees on the ingredients of what they’re serving, or at the very least, give the employees some sort of a guide or a chart, a simple excel spreadsheet if you will. Never have I ever been to a restaurant before where they consistently have such a simple and easy to fix problem. Shah’s Halal serves amazing food at an amazing price, and usually has phenomenal customer service, but this problem needs to be addressed and something...

The food was not bad, the service was the worst. So I came in on the evening of 11/18/2023 to order some food. For starters I was here in peach tree for a weekend church conference all the way from California with my son and just wanted to try something new and different. From the moment that I got in I was served by a tall black gentleman whom I assume to be of African or Caribbean origin. This young man had the nastiest attitude I have ever seen on a man!! He treated me as if I was bothering him by asking him to tell me the different food items being served. Saying “what do you want” and literally not hiding his irritation when I asked him about an extra fork, he literally tossed it to me. I ordered a platter for my self and a burger for my son. We had to wait for the burger to get done and when it was ready he says “ come get your burger” in a tone that said “ I don’t know why you’re sitting there not getting your burger. It was as if I got this food for free! At this point another co worker had joined him ( shorter guy of African origin as well). He was a bit nicer to me because he asked if I wanted to take the food to go or eat inside. At this point I was so frustrated I just wanted to get out of that place as I felt unwelcome. As for the taller African gentlemen, don’t work in an industry where you discriminate people. You were so rude and so highly disrespectful to me and my son. You should not work in hospitality if you don’t value and respect people. I have been in this country for over 20 years and I have never ever been treated like...

Review of Shah’s Shah’s Halal Food is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic and flavorful halal cuisine. From the moment you walk in, the warm and inviting ambiance sets the stage for a fantastic dining experience.

The menu offers a wide variety of options, ranging from classic gyros and rice platters to fresh salads and sandwiches. Every dish is packed with bold, vibrant flavors that highlight the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The tender, perfectly seasoned chicken and lamb are a standout, complemented beautifully by their creamy white sauce and spicy red sauce, which take the flavors to the next level.

What truly sets Shah’s apart is their exceptional customer service. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to ensure you enjoy your meal. They’re happy to customize dishes to your liking, making it a perfect choice for anyone with dietary preferences or restrictions.

The portions are generous and offer incredible value for the price. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or enjoying a family meal, you leave feeling satisfied and excited to return.

Shah’s Halal Food is more than just a restaurant; it’s a culinary experience that brings authentic halal flavors to the forefront. Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious, high-quality food with...

My mom picked up food for us here and bc of tummy issues I have I can't have anything spicy or tomatoes. So we asked for literally a plain gyro with literally just taziki sauce and chicken and when we brought it back it not only looked like slop but was so effing spicy that both me and my coworker who tried it felt like our tounges were burning. This was after they assured that the chicken was not spicy. Not sure if they cook with hot peppers or covered it in tabasco sauce but now it's in the trash. she tried calling to see what they put on it to check and they never answered the phone. Avoid if you have sensitivities/allergies. just to respond to the review: it was spicy to literally everyone at my office. She asked if it was spicy and nobody offered her a chance to try it so maybe a isue with that person. You guys didnt answer the first 2 calls she called hours later and finally did so. Regardless y'all have to admit what was served looks like slop lol. I just wanted to warn others with sensitive stomachs

My fiancé and I pass by this place all the time, and have been wanting to try it. So tonight we decided to get it for dinner, we ordered our meals online. I got the Combo over Rice and he got the Lamb Gyro. We arrived a few mins before we thought it would be ready and 5-10 mins after that he received the message that it was ready. After going inside it was not ready so my fiancé sat down, there was a gentleman there that was just on his phone doing nothing and the young lady was doing everything which KUDOS TO HER! Another 10-15 passed and finally the order was ready . None the less, the gyro was delicious Though! My rice platter, I regret ordering here for that. The rice was extremely dry and my sauces were not given either. We were missing parts of our order, and the chicken was bland. I’m so disappointed with this place, I had high hopes since I always seen lots of people but I’m realizing it’s probably because they’re the only ones open. Definitely wasn’t worth the price.

Another great addition to the Peachtree corners food scene! Located inside Peachtree Parkway shopping plaza, so there is ample parking space. The restaurant is small with few tables for dine-in. We ordered two platters, Chicken Over Rice and Combo (Chicken+Lamb) Over Rice. You can also add toppings from their selection of fresh or grilled veggies, salsa, hummus, black beans, etc. Then load up on the fantastic sauces (White, Red, and Green). We also ordered some fries, which came out hot and crispy. All the food was made from fresh ingredients and was delicious. Much much better than halal guys in Georgia. The staff is terrific. Super patient and friendly. We loved the service, and we would soon be going back to try more from the menu. Bonus: They are the solution for your late-night cravings. They keep open till midnight on weekdays and till 3 AM on weekends!!!! Worth checking out.
