Zero stars!! I found hair in my food. And it wasn't one hair. I went back to look in plate at remaining food and use the fork to go through it and saw another long piece of hair. Disgusted remembering the taste of hair and vomiting when removing it out my mouth. I'm going to a urgent care because it's disgusting to know that hair was in my food and no telling what type of germs contaminated my body. Even though it's a cliche, and so many people cry wolf, when it actually does happen no One believes me. It's not about just getting a refund or replacement. How can I want a replacement when they was hair in my food? The issue is no one took it seriously and did nothing about it. WHAT I FOUND ABSURD WAS THE MANAGER JB DIDN'T WANT TO REFUND MY FOOD BECAUSE HE SAID THEY ALWAYS GAVE ME A EXTRA TOMATO ON MY SALAD! HE SAID IT'S A CHARGE FOR EXTRA ONE SLICE OF TOMATO AND HE MADE ME FEEL LIKE I SHOULDN'T COMPLAIN BECAUSE IT WAS A FOOD IN MY HAIR! IT'S OKAY FOR HAIR TO BE IN MY FOOD BECAUSE THEY WENT THE EXTRA MILE AND PUT AN EXTRA TOMATO IN MY SALAD. HE DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT WHEN I LEAVE TIPS. I LEAVE TIPS BUT HE WANTS TO SAY I DIDN'T PAY FOR AN EXTRA TOMATO IN MY SALAD. THEN THE MANAGER STATED HE'LL GIVE HALF OFF OF NICK'S ORDER SO IT WOULD BE CHEAPER FOR ME! I DIDN'T ASK FOR THE ENTREE TO BE CHEAPER! I PURCHASED AN ORDER AT THE REGULAR PRICE AS I'VE ALWAYS DONE 3-3 TIMES A WEEK FOR OVER A MONTH.! I DO NOT WANT TO GET ANOTHER ORDER THERE WHETHER IT'S FULL PRICE, HALF OFF OR FREE BECAUSE IT WAS HAIR IN MY FOOD! PEOPLE WHO TRY TO GET "FREE FOOD", AS HE QUOTES, USE THE STORYLINE OF HAIR IN FOOD. THAT'S A PROBLEM BECAUSE WHEN IT'S REALLY HAIR IN YOUR FOOD YOU'RE NOT TAKING SERIOUSLY! I HAVE BEEN A REGULAR CUSTOMER THERE AND I DON'T FEEL I DESERVED THE TREATMENT I RECEIVED WHEN I VOICED AN ISSUE. I DON'T WANT FREE FOOD OR FOOD AT A DISCOUNT. I DESERVED A FULL REFUND FOR THAT ORDER I GOT THAT WAS DECONTAMINATED WITH HAIR! THEY WILL NOT GET MY...
Read moreHadn’t been here up until now, but I’ve driven past more times than I can remember in my life. Finally decided to say “why not?” and check it out for a late lunch.
The atmosphere is nothing special, but it’s clean and even somewhat cozy in a way - especially if you’re into places that feel more like a local hole in the wall. Our server was extremely polite and attentive, and we even had other members of the staff came to check on us when he was busy elsewhere.
The prices are extremely fair in my opinion; You can get an meal big enough to feed two for $13-16, and that in itself is enough reason to give this place a chance. For the price you’d pay for a meal at most fast food places these days - You can get yourself an entire seafood platter with fries and a salad. They’ve also got a few options for beer, which is a nice addition to the menu I didn’t expect to see when walking in.
The food itself was solid - I don’t find it to be anything worth raving about, but it certainly wasn’t a challenge for me to eat it and take home for leftovers. My fish was a little soggy (likely because we went during a lull at 2:45), but the shrimp I ordered with as well as my appetizers were stellar.
Overall, I’d recommend coming here if you’re in the area and have a hankering for some pretty decent seafood with just 20 bucks in your wallet. The people who work here are very friendly and truly do care about making their customers feel at home and appreciated - And that’s something I find myself barely able to say about most...
Read moreFood was good but service from our waitress, who was Asian, was non-existent. She gave full service to a table full of senior citizen white people, and ignored my daughter and I. I hate to throw in the race card for this instance, especially since the Hispanic lady, who wasn't our waitress, was very helpful and polite as well as having been here last week and another Hispanic waitress was awesome. I told our Asian waitress and the cashier guy that normally I tip very well, but it would've been nice to have been paid attention to and assisted. They both just shrugged it off like oh well. That told me enough to no longer visit this establishment and not to consider them for a cater order. No biggie because I'd rather know my patronage isn't welcomed or given a damn about. It helps me weed out where not to spend and not...
