Jax Burgers Fries & Shakes — Restaurant in Pearland

So I did a search in my area and this placed popped up. So I decided to give this a try, initially I didn't think it was open?? The sign was not lite up "Open" and not much activity either....so I parked and went into the place. 2 customer's were there with another family waiting in line to order. I looked over the menu on the wall and decided to go with the classic cheeseburger 🍔 with bacon 🥓 and avocado 🥑 added. Plus cajun fries and a strawberry 🍓 shake 😋 Placed my order and then sat down, waiting for delivery of my goodies. Really small shake came to my table, but tasty 😋 The Cheeseburger 🍔 was Huge and Juicy Delicious 😛😜with fresh toppings too. Large load of cajun fries with some spicy ketchup to mix into this plate!! 😉🗨💫💥 Somewhat lackadaisical way of serving you here, customer's having issues with soda dispensers spraying just water 💧. I recommend to one lady that she should let them know about it and she did. The young girl 👧 just yelled back "yayyy we know ,we ran out"??? No, I'm sorry or can I offer you something else or anything 🤔 Then the lady told me, Jeez at least they should put a sign that it's out of order or service?? As she then walked to the other dispenser and had the same results?? Hmmmm* not very customer service friendly or oriented in my book*🙃 Other than this hiccup with malfunctioning or out of syrup scenario. The overall experience was not too shabby, although it seems like the staff is like alittle just bare minimum efforts & not really enthusiastic about their duties ~ I mean I'm NOT expecting "Ritz-Carlton" VIP service but just regular common courtesy and genuine engagement 😉 😀 😊 😄 😜 🫠😉 They have a side drive-thru for easy ordering options & small outdoor seating too. This review is solely based on the kitchen & food. Went there last night (Saturday evening) we had chicken tender meal & 3-2strips kids meals & baja burger. When I went to grab my strip to eat I notice it felt cold, I try to tear it open to see why and I was shocked to see my tender was raw. I quickly started checking the rest thinking it was only one tender and no all the tenders including the kids meals were raw. I mean raw not half cooked just completely raw. It was as if they coated it, dipped it in the oil and only waited for the breading to get crispy. I’m just glad my kids hadn’t bit into them yet. I quickly returned to the place asked for a manager but no manager on the clock (in my opinion there should always be one on the clock) the front staff were wonderful no complaints there very polite and attentive from beginning to end. They apologized (even though it wasn’t their fault) and refunded my money but have to wait he said 3-5 days for us to reflect. Young lady at the hotel suggested this place after getting off the road and needing something to eat. I immediately thought this a fast food joint, but ordered something reluctantly. The menu is pretty robust and has something for anyone's taste and the young lady at the register was very patient as I deliberately then customized my order. She answered all my questions and even highlighted some of the cool photos at the register that I was admiring. I waited about 15 minutes for my food. They shouted my name and it was at my table promptly.

The burger looked great, but I soon discovered a rather long brown hair protruding from my sandwich after I dug through the fries a bit ... Must've jossled it loose. I reported it to the employees and received a new burger with a complimentary milkshake for my "trouble".
