My family does not drink Starbucks, this is typically where I will send my husband to grab the family coffee and breakfast. Today I went myself, the service I received, in front of my two small children I’ll add, was deplorable. The young woman was almost cruel in the attitude she took with me. After I had placed my order, my 2 year old asked if he could have a biscuit. I then asked “hi there, I’m so sorry, you guys wouldn’t happen to have biscuits would you?” She responded, “no, we don’t have that.” I said okay! Is there anything similar. “No, we don’t have nothing. All we have is bagels” I said, “okay, I believe you guys may have croissants, could we please just have one of those?” She closed the window and yelled to the back for someone to bring her a croissant. I was made to feel so bad for asking for a piece of bread for my child. To top all of this off, the drink that I had ordered came incorrectly, so I simply said, “oh no, that looks like the wrong drink I’m so sorry, I get this all the time.” She responded, “it’s what you asked for!” With the worst attitude ever. Still insisting that I take it. When it was clear that I wasn’t going to she asked, “so, what, do you want me to remake it?!” I hesitantly said yes please and tried to hand the other back. She refused to take it and closed the window. She then returned to “ask for the drink back” which I tried to pass to her and she somehow couldn’t reach it and let it splatter all over the ground and my suv. After this she exclaimed “oh wow, you did not have to do that!” As though I had thrown this drink at her. It was truly a horror show and I couldn’t even ask for a manager because I had absolutely no confidence that there was one in there with the way this young lady was...
Read moreI ADORE PJ’s eclectic decor & found the owner (Kyra) to be very attentive & warm. That is why I make the drive from Missouri City, passing several coffee shops along the way. I hate that I’m having to issue a complaint. I made a mobile order that was projected to be ready at 11:10A. I arrived at 11:15ish, letting the barista on the speaker know that I already had an order & wanted to add another drink. When I pulled up to the window, I was only given the additional drink, without the splenda I asked for, then rushed off. I reminded the barista about the mobile order. She seemed confused & couldn’t locate it. Then she handed me a hot coffee. I politely told her my name & that my order was a velvet ice. She showed me “my” receipt: “I have your receipt right here. Here is your name at the bottom.” I am Nekeeta, but she insisted I was Kendra & didn’t know my own order. I asked several times what became of my original drink. She did not offer an apology for losing my drink or calling me the wrong customer’s name. I feel like she saw a Black woman & assumed I must be Kendra, an ethnic name. When I asked for the manager, she identified herself & said, “Mmhmmm” to my concerns. I asked how to submit a complaint or feedback. She replied, “What? How do you make a latte?” I do not feel like she took me seriously at all. A “I do apologize for the inconvenience” would have sufficed. Ultimately, I requested a refund. I couldn’t trust they’d make my drink correctly after such a lackadaisical interaction. This is not PJ’s standard of...
Read moreHave to revise my review! Worst experience there ever today.! Stopped by for two coffees, order taker either wasn't listening or depended on the computer to think for her. I get to the window, employee confirms '2 vanilla velvet ice'. I said no, I have (repeated my order), she went into a 1-minute explanation for why she said the drinks are vanilla velvet ice. I said, there was a time when the customer was right. After waiting about 10 minutes for my drinks, she comes back to the window with the drinks. One wrapped in napkins (the one that was not dripping), hands me the other that dripped on my sweater and pants. After trying to dry the cup with the napkins, I wait for her to return to the window to request more napkins and a manager. No manager on duty, but shift leader available. Shift leader comes to the window offers 4-5 minute explanation for why both employees were correct. She offers to clean my cup, cup is returned with less coffee and more whipped cream still dripping. SL continues with window rep is correct and best at the job that's why they have her at the window. I reminded her, it's not just quality, it's experience. She further goes into when she worked at a diner. When customers come through the drive through, fast efficient service is the expectation. Drive thru times have gotten longer and longer over time. Customer service declined.
So disappointed by this; returning,...
