Abi's Kitchen — Restaurant in Pecos

I love this place. I have been coming here for 5years. Started in 2019 just started working in pecos went one night alone and enjoyed the best made catfish okra baked potato with salad bar delicious. The catfish fillets are always so big, hot, and well cook. I grew an addiction where I would go every Friday and order the same plate. I started bringing co workers for birthdays etc. so that they could experience what I’m bragging about for themselves. The staff actually remember me after the 3rd time and as soon as I walk in she would have already told the cook my order before I was seat. Made me feel like a V.I.P. Great place to eat can’t wait to be able to bring my family they are very excited about coming. I wish the hours of operation daily would be longer, my work schedule makes it so hard for me to get in and get my addiction fulfilled. Or all day lunch/ breakfast would work for me. We had the buffet. The selections were delicious but the options were limited. One drink is very large and should accommodate a person for one meal, however, if you feel you need more, first refill is free the next aren't. The salad is good but needs more green options. Iceberg lettuce is just not enough today.

The buffet is prepared at open and runs through closing. It has Rice Beans Goritas Asado Red Enchilada Casserole Chile Rellenos Chile Verde Gizo with beef,chicken, and shrimp

They load minimum during off peak hours and it can a short wait to get them to restock upon request.

First day I tried it, everything was amazing, service is phenomenal. Today I went in for the 2nd time and the steak just tasted awful, so much fat and just didn’t look right. So the lady gave me another meal and then I took it home to eat it then ended up chewing on something super hard and the green beans still had stems on them.
